I think McDonald probably does play ahead of Draper with all other fitness being equal - but I'd want to be sure of his fitness before playing him.

He was playing ahead of Draper earlier in the year and he's a man body. He's played the better part of 100 games of AFL footy.

I do think McDonald may get a run in the last couple of rounds if he's fit, we probably could use the experience down back in Pearce's absence. It would allow others to play their natural roles too.

I don't think so.

You'd want him to play WAFL for two to three weeks before you consider him given the length of injury. I just can't see us taking the risk considering Draper isn't doing too bad as it is.

I can only see us rushing McDonald back if two of Pearce, Cox and Draper aren’t available. Even then the possibility of playing Davies is probably higher and there’s always the possibility of playing smaller if match ups allow.

Yep, if he misses the last 3 games we can say goodbye to a top 4 finish and even making finals will be tough.
