Bulldogs should be at Marvel, our home game not Hawthorn, if it turns out that way

Would a Geelong v GWS final be offered to the Cats at GMHBA? Given they have lost the last 4 there v the Giants, I almost think the cats would say no

So so hard where I had Melbourne 2nd then slid them to 11th. Imagine the top 14 have making finals as a realistic pass mark so 6 teams will have a failed season.
Not too bad.
GWS, Sydney and Port. ticks
Geelong in the 8. tick
Brisbane to slide a bit. tick
Essendon to be among the 8 if not for the collapse. tick
Gold Coast, Melbourne and St Kilda. ticks
Got Hawthorn and Bulldogs wrong. Thought Bulldogs would be the big slider and didn't have enough courage to put a grand finalist outside the 8.

If Dogs beat GWS and Port are cemented in top 2 they may rest everyone v Freo in Perth late Sunday.

Which could impact Freo and the teams fighting for the 8 around them

I thought of a scenario yesterday. Suppose Bulldogs smash GWS and Port have 100 point buffer. Geelong on Sunday then win by a small margin, or lose.

Could Port potentially claim a number of those players had flu like symptoms and fly replacements in. It's a crazy scenario and I would imagine it would piss a lot of people off. I think Ross did this with Freo a while back and rested 13 players.

Prediction: Port will definitely play in the GF against either GWS or Brisbane leaning GWS. Port to win it all. :(

I don't disagree, but I don't see a scenario where it wouldn't be played at the MCG.
Contract is that if there is only 1 Victorian final it has to be at the MCG

Even without any kind of contract like that it would be at the MCG. We had to play the Crows at the MCG in 2015 as a home final to maximise crowds, we'd definitely play a Victorian side there as well.

I think there will be an 11th hour change at the bottom of the ladder in the final round. With the Gold Coast looking to have already 'clocked out' a comfortable win by Richmond over the Gold Coast at the MCG coupled with a crushing win by Hawthorn over North Melbourne will lift the Tigers from the bottom of the ladder and consign the Kangaroos to the 2024 wooden spoon.
