Bulldogs should be at Marvel, our home game not Hawthorn, if it turns out that way1. Sydney
2. Port Adelaide
3. GWS
4. Geelong
5. Brisbane Lions
6. Western Bulldogs
7. Hawthorn
8. Carlton
Qualifying Finals:
Elimination Finals:
- Sydney (1st) vs Geelong (4th) - SCG
- Port Adelaide (2nd) vs GWS (3rd) - Adelaide Oval
- Brisbane Lions (5th) vs Carlton (8th) - Gabba
- Western Bulldogs (6th) vs Hawthorn (7th) - MCG
I don't disagree, but I don't see a scenario where it wouldn't be played at the MCG.Bulldogs should be at Marvel, our home game not Hawthorn, if it turns out that way
The only Victorian team in the top 8 in 2024 will be Collingwood
gotta learn how to play the G unfortunately.Bulldogs should be at Marvel, our home game not Hawthorn, if it turns out that way
Not too bad.1) GWS
2) Sydney
3) Port Adelaide
4) Collingwood
5) Carlton
6) Geelong
7) Essendon
8) Brisbane
9) Adelaide
10) Gold Coast
11) Melbourne
12) St Kilda
13) Fremantle
14) Western Bulldogs
15) Hawthorn
16) Richmond
17) North Melbourne
18) West Coast
So so hard where I had Melbourne 2nd then slid them to 11th. Imagine the top 14 have making finals as a realistic pass mark so 6 teams will have a failed season.
I thought of a scenario yesterday. Suppose Bulldogs smash GWS and Port have 100 point buffer. Geelong on Sunday then win by a small margin, or lose.If Dogs beat GWS and Port are cemented in top 2 they may rest everyone v Freo in Perth late Sunday.
Which could impact Freo and the teams fighting for the 8 around them

Contract is that if there is only 1 Victorian final it has to be at the MCGI don't disagree, but I don't see a scenario where it wouldn't be played at the MCG.
Have a feeling 2024 will be dominated by non-vic/melb teams.

YEEEEEAHHope we do well but if not... a couple of things:
1. Ess days without a finals win to continue.
2. Gold Coast to not make finals... again

Not badHawks are my Smokey to push for the 8
Even without any kind of contract like that it would be at the MCG. We had to play the Crows at the MCG in 2015 as a home final to maximise crowds, we'd definitely play a Victorian side there as well.Contract is that if there is only 1 Victorian final it has to be at the MCG
