Yeah Daniels even refers to Bunbury being the likely venue, probably more to play out there still so can't be confirmed yet.
Being able to schedule when you arrive and leave is still a big benefit too, no airport wait or the other rigamarole.

You'd expect it to be alternated, but obviously there's still one team that will get more benefit.
If you were North you'd likely want West Coast at Optus given their larger supporter base.

I think it's a good deal for NM. In 2023 they played 2 games at Optus decided by less than a kick, 1 win and 1 loss but made $0. Next year they'll play 2 games in WA and make 2 million dollars.

Googlemaps says Cockburn to Bunbury is a 97 minute drive, doubt we'll fly.

Apparently WC are going there next year so we have 19 months to plan.
Nah, by the time you factor in the airport transfers and waiting it'll just about be quicker to drive. Bus rides in my day were also team bonding, especially when you get the win and can call into a few pubs on the way home.

Nah Pav was a better footballer too. Probably close to the best ever of his type (Genuine all positions utility. Could play HBF, CHB, Onball, HFF, CHF and FF). Take the midfielders gongs off Fyfe he's not that stand out as an onballer compared to the other very best players in that position in his generation. (Don't get me wrong: great player.)
could not disagree more.
Pav was amazing, but he was never close to the best player in the game.
Fyfe was easily in the conversation as the best in the game until injuries tore him apart.
