I'm downgrading and emailed the club. I had a reply and phone call within 48hrs as to why. Funny that.

I downgraded too. Didn't want to but can't get to 11 games. 5 games was perfect for me. They really left me with no choice.

I have been a member for 30 years and have been to every final played in Victoria including both winning grand finals in the 90s. If we happen to get in next year, that is awesome and if I don't get a ticket from being in the ballot then so be it.

Do they do a 5 game prem club one. I think they used to a few years ago as I worked out 5 plus the free guest pass between two was 6 games for a lot cheaper

Yes I got rid of my reserved seats and went to the social club memberships . Sat there must be for 15 20 yrs . Time for a change will sit in the pocket and cheer squad next yr

Following my correspondence with the CEO I've had long conversations with both the Commercial Manager and the Membership Manager and am reasonably satisfied with the outcome of discussions re membership experience in general and what the club is doing in that space and been offered an allocation of six seats together for my footy crew in Bay 34 near the Parker Room.

I’m not sure what to do, I have 2 adult & 3 junior premiership club memberships as well as 2 gold Afl memberships but have only seen 1 North game post Covid & my wife & grandkids have no interest in football at all nowadays
It is a 3 hour drive each way for me so I can’t be bothered going by myself
My wife would prefer me ‘donating’ the money to her instead of the club

Well I’ve just spoken to Calum the membership manager and I’ve been moved to aisle 34 rows M and N. It’s one aisle to the right and 4 rows from where I was sitting so I’m happy about that.

So that's 17 seats (bs's 6 + kia's 11) gone from the Bay 34 "reserved bay" area... With others likely to have done the same as yourselves, they may as well change the Bay 34 colour on the seating map to all Reserved Seating.

Well done to the both of you... As I'm sure most of us agree, it should never have come to that though... & it's a damn shame that others will still get caught out & either have worse seats for a higher price, or voluntary downgrade their membership, meaning less dollars for the club.

There is no point building a relationship with any representative from the club because the reality is they won’t be there in 12-18 months.
I’ve dealt with an Alicia and Calumn and Lachy. Each time I save their email adresses in my contact list and then a few months later I go to email them back and they’re gone. Sender not found. Irony is because I don’t receive clubs comms. How do you expect members to have faith in the club when they are a faceless organistion?

I can clarify that Lachlan is a real person as I sighted him with a named NMFC badge standing next to the pizza van at the AFLW game at Arden St.

Just opened the 2024 membership email from the club headed "Gumble, we're excited for 2024!"
I must admit that after seeing my Level 1 Reserved Seat membership has apparently gone up $40 to $704 I wasn't feeling overly excited. Seems like a hell of a lot of money for 7 games. Seeing as they are advertising this membership as being from $629 I think a call to the club is in order.

A pretty good read. Interesting that our supporter base grew by 26% the past year. Guessing a combination of a big name like Clarko plus Sheezel.

I reckon it’s also a reminder how useless membership numbers are compared to even a portion of the supporter base watching on tv.

I was on a 5 game membership which has been discontinued. I called membership and found I had been upgraded to an 11 game membership with zero correspondence. I wouldn't have known until my automatic payments started. I only called because of all the feedback on this thread. Pretty ordinary by the club.

Of all the not-great stuff being experienced in here, this is the shittest in my opinion.

5- game memberships are obviously held by fans who've clearly made a decision to purchase a less expensive package.

Someone has deliberately decided that those fans will now get a full-priced membership. And if they don't get/ read their email, bad luck. Because the forced opt-out Means it "rolls over" automatically.

Unbelievable disrespect. Some really disappointing decisions being made here, and the finances of everyday fans are affected. It feels really un-North.

I have had lots of different memberships from reserved seats to where I find myself now due to my ability to get to games. I still want to support the club, its a shame the feeling isn't mutual.

I didn't receive an offer to upgrade for free. I specifically chose the 5 game membership as it suited me. As the club has chosen to no longer offer it that the only option I have is to down grade which means the club gets less money from me. I am sure there will be plenty of other 5 game membership holders that will do the same. Seems like a dumb financial move to me. I feel sorry for the supporters who arent on BF and have no idea this is about to happen. Not a good look for the club IMO.
