The dog did exactly the same tackle against Kreuzer - who went off with concussion - years ago - exactly the same. The AFL are a clueless bunch of macaroons.
****en cheats mate and have been for years ,it will never improve until they get rid of the golden boys club that practice the circle jerk..

I watched the replay of Dangerfields tackle and just focused on him only and at no stage did he put his weight forward to drive Walsh into the ground. Correct outcome IMHO.

Not sure how you can get that conclusion.

When you swing your full body weight, using the person you’re tackling as the fulcrum and you are moving forward at pace, you are dragging that player down and forward.

His pendulum swing prevented Walsh from standing up in the tackle and getting his legs under him so danger definitely caused Walsh to be propelled forward head first.

It is simple physics.

We are so lucky that Walsh was not seriously hurt.

Danger has repeatedly shown over many years, he is a risk to others because he tries to inflict harm. This instance is no different.

By the letter, his tackle was suspension worthy.

Pinned arms, drag player to ground, head hit the ground, potential for injury = day off.

Once again who you are matters to the tribunal.

Dangerfield tackles to hurt and has repeatedly done so to champion Carlton players we have had in the past... Notably 1/ Marc Murphy got his syndesmosis injury[ 14 wk /season ending] AND 2/ Chris Judd career ending ACL was a result of Dangerfield tackling/dragging him into the ground with tremendous Force downwards as Judd was coming down with a completed mark [would have been a clear 50m penalty these days] but Dangerfield was intent on hurting him and succeeded in ending of wonderful career

AFLPA Pres is a protected species!
yep. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

We had this whole thing back in the day with Byron Pickett and his crash and bash style not being seen as fair and needs to be removed from the game. Danger's been doing this for years lining up players and inflicting ultimate lack of duty of care. Toby Greene gets crucified moreso for less damaging actions.
