I know this isn't a gambling thread, but Houston are only around a one TD favourite. I know they haven't lit the world on fire recently but that seems like a low number and Dallas have conceded cricket scores at home.

Until tomorrow when Stroud fumbles three times or gets injured in the first quarter......

Dallas are already the only team ever to trail by 20+ points in five consecutive home games. I expect that streak to reach six.

This Detroit team is ruthless, absolutely slaughtering mediocre teams. Kinda proud the cardinals only lost to them by 7 points.

Can’t see anyone outside of their division troubling them in the conference, and even then you’d expect GB or Minnesota will have to win three away games to get to the SB. Lions should be at home for any playoff games, and then you’re just hoping to avoid a bad Goff game.

I could pick 3-4 teams to come out of the AFC, but it would be very surprising at this stage if anyone but Detroit came out of the NFC.

I just hope Detroit don't run out of steam come playoff time. If there is one organisation whose fan base deserve a championship, its the lions .

The only team I can see remotely troubling the lions is philli. They have the run game to control the clock against detroit. They have the secondary to matchup against the lions wide receivers which would give them the opportunity to load the box upfront to slow down the lions run game.

On a side note, the teams in play offs hunt who want to upgrade their kicker will be keeping a close eye on the cardinals kicker situation.

Matt prater who has had a very good career had missed the last 6 games ( 4 of them on IR) could be available as a free agent soon if the cardinals choose to go with his younger replacement. They have to make a decision on his return this week as he can be activated for the seahawks game.

His replacement ryland who is considerably younger, has nailed all his xp's and has made 11/12 field goals (including 3 game winners, which judging by the recent failure rate is extremely valuable).

I can't see cardinals carrying 2 kickers on the roster, whoever we cut will be picked up straight away.

Prater has the history, but ryland has the hot hand.

I can see Philly absolutely routing Detroit

NFCCG...would be surprising if it's not Eagles vs Lions, but Cardinals could be a possible

AFCCG...Chiefs, Bills, Steelers, Ravens, Texans all have a decent shot

Teams like Chargers, Broncos, Commanders, Falcons, Rams Seahawks, Colts....making up the numbers but could provide an upset or two and be poised for contender role in 2025 with a strong off-season

Chargers blow a game. Never seen that before.

I guess in a game between 2 of the biggest chokers in the league they were both bound to gift the game to the other. it was always going to be about who wants to lose more.

Chargers gonna charge

Mentally fragile. so many games they blow in the 2nd half because they think the lead is enough and drop off.

I feel like half the Raiders division wins have come because of this in the last few years.

Doesn't matter who the coach is, it's embedded in their collective psyche. This would be a brutal collapse for most teams, but it's just a regular game for the chargers. Herbert turning the ball over there was horrific.

It must suck to be a Chargers fan... if they existed that is.

at least they are consistent with their choke jobs

Charger non believers, AD on multiple occasions. :tearsofjoy:

Where have you been? This is a different team under Harbaugh. They are actually winning games they would have blown now.

The dream superbowl for me is Lions vs Chargers. Make it happen.

Bo Nix should be in the conversation with Daniels now for rookie of the year. He is playing unbelievable.

All of Daniels, Nix and Maye landed in less than ideal spots for a rookie QB given the lack of weapons and looked awesome. Year 2 is the great leveler however as we know, defences have had a chance to look at them, you see how much Stroud has struggled this year. But geez id be happy to have any of them as a rookie QB on my team as things currently stand.

I agree with your earlier critique of posts/posters that the Chargers are a different team with Harbaugh. That theyd lose most of those games prior. Staley was a psycho we all agree.

They're now 7-3 and sitting better than the Ravens. A couple more Chiefs losses and you'll have a new division leader. You also have Justin with a J at QB to go with Jared with a J for the Lions. The J's get it done (jim, joe, john).

Last week, when 9-0, Chiefs sent out offers to fans to purchase playoff tickets to Arrowhead, and some quipped how funny it would be Karma-wise if Chiefs suddenly lost out or nearabout and missed out.

Anyway....Chiefs still have some tough divisional and non-divisional games they could lose that could see Chargers take the division, but poised for no lower than 5th seed.

I said earlier them Broncos and others making up the numbers but I rate the Chargers as a real smokie due to Herbert and Harbaugh and Dobbins.

Other bits from yesterday:
The Falcons are a one trick pony. Still dont have a pass rush much like ~ 15 of the previous 16 years. Luckily for them every team in the NFC south has an awful defense.
The Jets defense is near bottom 5. Just awful. Good to see Richardson play well but felt that was always on the cards vs the Jets overrated garbage d.
Good win for the Bills obviously but thought it was a pretty bad game.
Steelers and Ravens was always going to be a slugfest. Great work by Tomlin putting in Fields at the end for the option. Coaching wins you the game.
Bears not trying to get closer for the FG when they had the momentum vs the Packers. Coaching loses you the game.
