Bevo is a shocking coach. If not for the fact that he is a former Dog's player and more importantly, was gifted a flag in 2016 by the most biased umpiring, he would've been booted from his job years ago. Surely cannot survive the year.
Idk …
He has one of the best free kick differentials in the history of the game. His actor training sessions are game breakers. Game breakers.

JUH has much better marking ability and is getting better at finishing. Last year he was marking most things coming his way but had crap accuracy.

Logan is behind in both imo

There is still very little separating both players, but that's right, Logan just gets cheapies out the back, nothing to do with great positioning, playing as part of a team, playing to the coaches instruction etc, etc.

Interesting comparison.

My take is that Logan is better at doing the unheralded, team first things whereas JUH better at the flashy stuff.

Give me Logan any day (although happy to take JUH too if he wanted to come our way 😉).

Without making excuses for the Dogs its list is average overall and overrated. They do have Bontempelli, Libertore and English at the top end. Some decent top end younger players in Ugle-Hagan and Darcy but that it’s.

The mid range players aren’t good enough and the 16-22 player pool is weak.

Bombers list isn’t that strong but, to their credit they added in McKay (top 6 intercept marks in the game), Gresham (third in Bombers goal kickers this year) and Duursma (top 10 disposals at Essendon). Essendon are covering up their average drafting with free agents.

Think the problem, especially with dons is a lack of class.

The team is "average" across the board.

Sam Taylor has been knocked out cold. I hope he’s okay. Could be a big loss for the Giants.

GWS' pressure at ground level in their forward 50 is elite. They get so many opportunities for those Bedford/Greene/Daniels/O'Halloran types just by harassing, chasing, giving opposition defenders no time and space.

We absolutely have to get at least one more pressure player into our forward line IMO.

They have a very well balanced side.

To be fair, ‘sold some candy’ doesn’t make much sense either.

Play on …
It's like when a child sees candy and is mesmerised by it. If you were to move the candy from side to side the child's gaze and their hands would follow the candy in an 'I want' fashion. The opponent is the child, the footy is the candy, and the act of putting the ball out in front of an opponent and have them grasp for it, only for you to pull the candy away is the act of selling the candy.

Wow, there's not much between them at all. Not that I'd even given the matter much thought.

I'd always felt JUH was a bit of a flakey player, as in he's more likely to go to water in the heat of battle. But he's still very young, so the jury is still out in whether that's an accurate representation of his character or not.

I definitely have more faith in Logan's goal kicking, which is evident in their accuracy, and disposal efficiency for that matter.

More than happy to have Logan, but it'll be interesting watching their careers develop. Would love it if it was with both at the swans. JUH would be an automatic (and huge) upgrade on Amartey.

Their careers are following a similar path, with Logan living in Buddy's shadow to this point, and JUH being behind their other talls. Both look to be coming out of their shells in 2024, so from here on their trajectories will be interesting to watch over the coming decade.

GWS on their way to outclassing another meh team, as expected...

Hope Sam Taylor is okay.

That’s not an excuse it’s fact. Their list is garbage.
