NFL Network insiders report the Commanders are expected to “check in” with Bears in trading for No. 1 pick.
The Commanders currently hold the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft with a new regime holding the reigns. General manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn are both new and the team is expected to explore quarterback options, including trading up for the No. 1 overall pick. The Commanders also added offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury in the offseason. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo says the team communicated to Kingsbury that they will do “as much as we possibly can” to get the quarterback he wants. Kingsbury worked with USC’s Caleb Williams last season, but if the No. 1 pick isn’t a possibility, Drake Maye is a potential selection at No. 2.

Outside the top 3 WRs who are your favourite two?
Who is top 3. I think Oduze I have 2. Nabers 3rd

I like Corley from WKU and Coleman from FSU.

Corley will make someone really happy on day 2. But he won't be in the top 5 WRs.

McConkey from Georgia and Wilson from Michigan good route runners for the Slot

Havent had a look at Corley much yet but will put him on the list now that you've said him, thanks. Coleman is VERY polarising, like quite a few others in this class, its such an interesting class from that perspective. At least 4 or 5 others like Coleman I feel

I said it a week or so ago, Corley is going to get Reed put onto big boards for day 3 based on the Corley tape. Corley runs angry.

Haven't watched much South Carolina and not any lately. Not a fan of Rattler even with the numbers he puts up. But will have a look at some cut ups of Legette over the next few weeks.

Coleman and Franklin from Oregon seem to be guys that could shoot up or enter free fall.

Heard quite a few Panther fans talk up Tez Walker. Im completely out after doing some deeper digging on him. Watch the Panthers draft him now at 2.01 or 3.01 just to piss me off.
I expected more out of him given the talk because of the ineligible transfer stuff at first. But UNC as a whole were disappointing this year.

Tez struggled to live up to the hype but also dealing with the NCAA ruling would of taken a lot of of him.

The hype was around turning into a day 1 pick and help take UNC into the playoff picture.

Interesting to hear him talk about Legette so highly. The tape does look impressive, but he did absolutely nothing in college til his senior season as a nearly 23 year old, that is usually a bad recipe for transitioning to the NFL. Hes very tough to get a read on.

Thats now. but a couple of weeks ago he wasnt on the radar for teams or day 3 pick. He had a good week at the senior bowl and opened some eyes
You're kidding yourself if you think scouts didn't know about him and it was only the Senior Bowl that put him on the map.

Danu Brugler's probably one of the more plugged in full-time draft analysts and has been talking about him being a Day 2 pick for months now. He even had him going late 2nd in a two-round mock in mid Jan

Hell, this tweet from October mentions day 2 as a possibility
