My first quarter thoughts at the ground.

Similar issues. Wasted chances. Talls getting in each others way, English not performing the the ruck contests.

Buku should play as third tall interceptor, don’t see him as a second tall but doing some good things. Great position. Skills need work.

Backline is actually functioning well, lots of direction and good positioning. 2 goals are from frees, one unlucky. Only other chance was an absolute hack kick.

Sitting at the the forward end this quarter will be good to see them from behind the play

You’d never see opposition teams have 5 of the top disposal getters. We clearly aren’t mucking around with it by hand anymore.

It's wild, he had a very good year in 2022 as the main man at the Suns when it looked like they might be good but he has always been a player that you give two years when your developing players need support by having another player take the heat and then you move on.
