scrappy first half against the half-strength Bulldogs. Not sure what the second match will look like with the likes of the Bont, Tim English and JUH playing against Box Hill lols

take aways:
1. it's only a practice match, but the lack of consistent class is obvious
2. poor disposal into the 50 again, forward connection horrible
3. Draft night 2023.... WB 1, Hawthorn 0.
4. Jai Newcombe will be AA this year, but our centre clearance work is inconsistent. Hard to judge without english playing.
5. Ginnivan is going to be a great replacement for Breust in the long term.

Reeves was trailing in Darcy for their goal late in the 2nd. You would think Tucker and Ramsden will play the 2nd game

Sanders is the classic type of player who can come in with a high floor and look good in first year or two. The knock was always scope for improvement and ceiling at AFL level.

Watson looks class. Comparisons won't matter for years.
