Really not much to get excited about today. Same issues moving forward and our defence looked subpar for most of the day. If our defence doesn't hold up its gonna be a long season. Hopefully vast improvement in the next game

Well we could have some more high scoring games this year, which is what we all wanted.

Just might be 60-110 instead of 60-50 :rainbow:

Guessing Howes won’t be in that round 1 team.

Shouldn't be playing in the backline IMO. If we're playing May (can't bend over), Tomlinson (horrible below his knees), and Lever (fumble city atm), then we need smalls who can handle the groundball inside defensive 50. That's not Howes' go I reckon. Needs to be tried on the wing.

Yze will be stoked with their performance. Their run and gun style was on full display and completely tore us apart with their pressure and transition.

Our fitness levels looked subpar.

Id rather that than low soring football. Might actually get some people sacked and change our recruiting strategy. Our backline is ****ed, forget about spending big on a KPF, we desperately need KPDs. Tomlinson and Lever are horrible one on one and May looked well off it today too.

What was Tim Lamb thinking trading Yze for McQualter?

#35 out here looking like Luke Tapscott lmao

Unless he has another setback, hard to see Clarry not being available round one. Whether we want to pick him straight away or let him build fitness and prove he’s on track with a game or two at Casey I don’t know, but he doesn’t look like someone who couldn’t be ready to go in 3 weeks.

he would at least be a pretty handy sub if they want to manage his time.
