Preseason means **** all but I did give them a mulligan after I found out about Gus, as that would have taken a fair bit of puff out of the playing group to learn he was suddenly retiring a couple days before the game. Promising signs, up to us to do it in the real stuff.

Improvement from Sparrow, JVR, Bowey, Laurie, Koz etc is where we will potentially stop a slide this year. And we saw that is a possibility.

Salem looked good in the middle. Windsor looked really impressive. Takes the game on and has fantastic speed. Exactly what we need. McVee is a little concerning. Has looked out of sorts first 2 games. Billings a lock for first game. Looked solid.

Solid hitout. Goalkicking still a worry and our KPDs look a bit vulnerable, but plenty to like. Laurie did some nice things too.
