Treacy vs McDonald

Treacy has more kicks, marks, handballs, hitouts, tackles, clearances, contested and uncontested possessions, contested marks and 1%ers than McDonald.

McDonald has one more mark inside 50 than Treacy.

Treacy has kicked 18 goals 3 behinds to McDonald's 17.10

Of course it's not all about stats, but give me Treacy any day of the week, I hope McDonald re-signs with Sydney so we can focus our attention on players we actually need.

Question for the ressies watchers:
How fit and sharp has Francis been in the 2’s? And did he have a full preseason?

I think he’s a good player but have always thought he’s looked half a yard slow and struggles with repeat efforts etc.

He’s been really solid in the VFL - strong and steady, with intercept marking and spoiling a feature. Lack of pace is a shortcoming - but aside from that, his all-round game has been good. I couldn’t knock his repeat efforts.

He was taken off during the 3rd quarter last week, presumably because he was already earmarked for Tommy’s role.

As far as I know he had a full pre-season.
