The dream run came to a screeching halt last week after flipping from Heeney (who I originally recommended, lol) to Butters :embarrassedv1::

RoundPlayerC or VCScoreRolling average

13GawnC132143.0
14ButtersC76138.2

This week, likely Gawn into Ryan (or maybe Zerrett, if I end up sideways trading him in).

Relevant scores against GC from recent games:
R13 vs Saints: Sinclair 147
R12 vs Bombers: Top three scores (all tons) for Essendon were all rebounding defenders (Ridley, Heppell, Redman)
R11 vs Blues: McGovern, Newman and Kemp all tonned up
R10 vs Cats: Holmes 104
R9 vs Roos: Fisher 140
R8 vs Lions: Zorko 160

Sinclair played mid
Essendon defenders scores were not high enough
Blues defenders scores not high enough

Last month Gold Coast given up 120ish plus to...

2 mid
1 ruck
1 half forward

---------------------------------------------

Xerri to opposition rucks in reverse order

82, 60, 74, 74, 100, 107, 77, 97, 106, 73, 96, 178, 57

Given up one captain worthy score in 13 games.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out this week. Many will be on both.

Sinclair played mid
Attended 0 CBAs against Gold Coast, and this was his heatmap.

Well yeah, I wouldn't be expecting Heppell, Redman, McGovern, Newman and Kemp to be putting up captaincy worthy scores – they were still well above their average, which is the point.

Matchups don't really phase me with Gawn. If anything, he plays up to his opposition. The spuds are the ones you need to worry about.

Anyone considering zorko against port
All his big scores have been at the Gabba.

Season high away of 117 (which was at the AO tbf).

Average 137 @ Gabba
Average 89 @ away grounds

Not this week for me. Next week at home vs Melbourne he's a definite option though.

Every week I always have a confidence about my VC/C.
Even if it doesn’t work out I go in feeling good about my choices.
This week I just can’t make a decision that feels right.
I’ve settled on Gawn/Merrett but I’m not feeling it and I’m not feeling the other choices available to me.
Preying Gawn gets the job done don’t want to rely on new recruit Merrett.

. I'm thinking those 2 aswell along with Flanders.

Flanders never lets you down for some reason I never have confidence to pick him same with Heeney.
There’s certain players I just can’t trust.
Only players I have full faith in are
Bont
Gawn
Daicos
Serong (losing confidence)
Butters (losing confidence)
Merrett
Grundy (VC only)
Ryan (VC only)
Who does everybody else have full faith in?
