If draper or davies don’t debut… it means they are not close to ready, which would be concerning. This scenario is exactly why they were drafted.

If not, Johnson back and omeara in is growing on me! Great suggestion thankyou. (Who is calling justin to let him know?;)

The problem is you need to think about the whole team balance when you are making changes. Bringing in OMeara and one of Tabs/Voss leaves us a defender short, so if Banfield plays forward. Who goes back? Young? You’ll get a lot of push back if that is your intention

Yes, good point - but I just can't see who's ready to come in from who's available.

It's a concern to me that so much of our scoring came from clearance in the Brisbane game. I hope that is partly early season rust as we need to improve our turnover scoring if we want to be serious this year.

I agree, but quite a number of those scores from clearance came from forcing Brisbane to lose possession - just not directly to our players.

Particularly kicks down the line. Cox would have marked more of those instead of them being a tackle or out of bounds for a stoppage

It's not that concerning... They are still quite raw KPDs.

I didn't watch their game on the weekend so can someone tell me why people seem to be so high on North? I'm reading about how they looked good on the weekend, and looked exciting etc. but the score tells me they lost by 40 points and giants had 20 more scoring shots than them.

I rate anyone as a chance against us because of our injury list atm, but did North really look that good in a game they were outscored in so heavily?

They did not, I saw GWS frequently literally walk it up the ground. They were in cruize control and scored at a ridculous rate per inside 50

I watched parts of it. GWS could have won by millions. To be fair to North they moved the ball ok at times themselves, but they're no good defensively and GWS transitioned the ball easily (albeit they're excellent at that).

North are exactly as you'd expect. Good midfield with enough talent to at least try to run two ways but will tire drastically as the year goes on. Terrible structures because it's literally a team of kids basically. Horrible backline that isnt helped because the kids cant structure themselves on transition

Yep, but you run the risk of seeing that assessment pop up on Saturday arvo, so I tempered mine!

I had to turn it off. Neither team had a defensive bone in their bodies. Thought i was watching basketball.
