Is James Jordan to Powell silly? JJ sas a 9 break even and looks like he could make another $50k-$60k before his bye and it was always my intention to hold him until then. But Powell could be a top 6 forward come the end of the season and will go up $200k over the next month.

My only other option is to trade Wines to Powell, but I am happy to stick with Wines over the next couple of weeks with no JHF and heaps of Adel Oval games.
Ditch Wines

If SBerry is named is there a point in dropping him for a Sharp/Dempsey. His BE is -5 but he is just a massive sub risk
I've had him planned out all week (for McKercher) but thinking if he's named it might be better to get rid of Sexton instead, as he's who I'll likely be trading for Darcy next week, may as well try get the extra 25k out of Berry. I really think he gets dropped/sub though.

Pretty sold on this.

Literally brought coffield in last week so that sucks, but fixes my backline issues and bring in MCkerk who i didnt have space for initially, but he is best rookie on the bubble currently.

Nets me $275k also for some joocy upgrades next week

Personally wouldn't be using a boost just to grab Pink, there'll be other, just as good or better defensive options (Tom Brown next week for example). By all means, turf one of Reid and Coff this week (Coff first), but don't blow a boost, especially since the third trade will net you $0.

Might seem pedantic, but boosts are so valuable during upgrade season.

yeah i had berry down to sharp, but i am thinking of getting rid of sexton as well as he is the most likely option to downgrade for Darcy next week

Are we going to get an extra 5 trades now for drug related "injuries"?
Bont the first one this week. Must have been putting that schnozz to good use down in the 'Rat.

Long time lurker, new poster. I’m on paternity leave got some more spare time devoting to SC whilst not looking after the kids… The contributions here (good and bad) helped shaped my team so thought I can give back a little…

Think I’m going to settle for:
Grundy down to Xerri + Sexton to Powell

My logic: 1.Grundy is cooked and after surprising Gawn round 1 those tactics now getting found out.
2. Most of top 100 currently rolling the Gawndy combo so brings in a POD who can at least match, and, with a bit of luck, could outscore moving forward.
3. I don’t think Grundy’s price increase will be as steep as quick as we would want. Presume BE is relatively high too with that 70 against him.
4. Im still bitter that he and his management manipulated Collingwood to earn that huge contract only for him to go from elite ruck to below average. Grifter. You can’t have players you fundamentally dislike in your team, right?
5. Won’t lose “premo” scorer during the swans bye round, so getting in early on that.
6. Thought Sexton would be better than averaging 60-odd. 3 week sample size good enough for me to see him depart my team and being able to bring in someone averaging 112 who could well be F6 worthy at years end with DPP likely and only burning one trade is a risk worth taking!
8. Powell is what a 4th year player now so you would think this improvement is genuine…

Also toyed with the idea of trading Rowell to try and maintain additional premo scoring rather than seeing him sitting on the bench with Tom Green. But hopefully Naicos and Lyons (absent last week) can replicate the formers R2 scoring. Bypassing on Flanders so far also lessons this as many of the top teams have 3 premos out this week.

Could also sideways Clark to Sharp or Campbell to Dempsey with a boost but think will hold off. Good thing is Richmond and Cats play later in the round so could sit back to see how other cash cows perform before pulling that trigger.

Welcome .....all contributions are very welcome

Makes sense. Sounds alright. Go with it.

As a new poster, I advise being more irrational and knee-jerk in your posting. Really let the emotions fly with tantrums and humorous memes. Just a tip. :D

Excellent parenting, focusing on SC! Nicely done.

Like me you'll prob need to wait and see if Lyons holds before making a call, otherwise you may need to pull the trigger there. No surprise if he's part of the 5 man bench tonight and you'll need the baby safely tucked away when sub is named tomorrow night. But worth playing around with some options in case you need to pivot that way. Powell is a must have imo either way.

Have brought in Mas, Powell and Butters for Young, Sexton, and Wines.

Currently ranked 778 and want to keep the good times rolling.

Coffield can wait and will hold Martin with an eye to swap with Yeo once he gets def status and trade Yeo for the value available at the time.

Man plans God laughs.
