I am intrigued with Flys comments about our running capacity at training being miles ahead of last year by the GPS numbers the club keeps
From our training watchers. Is it noticeable that we are hitting the track harder in the later part of this years preseason and early rounds compared to last year?
Last year we were lauded for going harder for longer, so in one aspect we should be at another level higher compared to last year. But on the other hand, we may be too fatigued under the high fitness regime, to time a strong finish to the last 2/3rds of the year which all dynasty teams have had. I wonder if the slower start is by design to mimic what the coaching line up have experience at Brisbane, Hawthorne and Richmond. Because on the flip side, no premier who has finished on top the year after has gone on to win the flag in the AFL era

Yes, I think by design.

I reckon we may have just stolen a top 20 pick for nothing with parker. You just have this vibe that we've gotten away with something special here.
I hope so, it would somewhat make up for the loss of this years first rounder in the Schultz trade

Oh that's right. Is he eligible to play this year
Yeah.
I don't believe those rules still exist, that any cat b rookies would need promotion before playing. But this year would be about him getting back up to speed on the game and playing some vfl.

body-shape, size, running gait & playing-style / position, reminds me of Ed Richards at the Bullies. 👍
