I said earlier that I think she started strongly. The selection of Walz, the focus on abortion, the convention were all hits and I honestly thought for a good one or two weeks she wasn't putting a foot wrong from an electoral point of view. But the energy is draining, they're not playing to Walz' strengths and she's not wanting to break from the unpopular president she's wedded to. It's allowed Trump to whittle a fair bit away at that initial lead despite his VP pick being arguably the worst of all time and despite his total lack of energy.
Biden was an unfathomably bad candidate going in, with one poll even showing Trump winning New Jersey. Kamala is doing better than that, yes, but that's an incredibly low bar.
You are wasting your time.

The Trump train is gathering unstoppable momentum while his haters are running late and don't have a ticket.

But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about, that, because, look, child care is child care is. It’s, couldn’t, you know, there’s something, you have to have it. In this country you have to have it.”
“But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I’m talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they’re not used to — but they’ll get used to it very quickly – and it’s not gonna stop them from doing business with us, but they’ll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country. Those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we’re talking about, including child care, that it’s going to take care."
“We’re gonna have — I, I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time, coupled with the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country, because I have to stay with child care. I want to stay with child care, but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I’m talking about, including growth, but growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just, that I just told you about."
“We’re gonna be taking in trillions of dollars, and as much as child care is talked about as being expensive, it’s relatively speaking not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we’ll be taking in. We’re going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people, and then we’ll worry about the rest of the world. Let’s help other people. But we’re going to take care of our country first. This is about America first. It’s about Make America Great Again. We have to do it because right now we’re a failing nation, so we’ll take care of it.”

A cackling, clueless word salad. Not a shred of anything resembling any sort of serious policy detail here or in the other of her umpteen hours of pointless TV appearances to date.
Someone recently labelled her "the queen of whine". It's difficult to argue with that label.
She is a carbon copy of our Albo - a waffling fake who is chronically unqualified, yet has managed to "pull a Bradbury" to the top of the political hierarchy.
It truly beggars belief how someone like this is the best the Dems can put forward as a presidential candidate.

She is a woman, a woman of colour, one that has experience in all three executive branches of the U.S Government.
Neither of the other two have had that experience!

You and spinynorman aren't Trumpers per se, but both of you absolutely revel in repeatedly posting "tut, tut Democrats" posts, gleefully pointing at anything that is even a slightly negative reflection on the Democrats and "warning" that they are in danger of losing the election.
I have no doubt that both of you are secretly hoping for a Trump win to vindicate your oft-stated views.
She aint being compared to trump. She is being compared to the best possible theoretical candidate that could beat trump.
At the moment she is at best tied with trump. Thats not good enough. She should be smashing him.

I have wanted to post that so many times.
I actually don't have any problems others pointing out legitimate criticisms about the Dems/Harris and when I see something like that posted always google and try to read more about it.
I like Harris and think that she is walking a tight line not divorcing herself from Biden and his administration (he still has a lot of followers), pushing her own policies and taking all the trash talk from Trump.
Yet Trump who is an appalling excuse for a human being doesn't receive much, any? criticism.
'Oh well that's just Trump' seems to be the best we get.
Some objectivity would be good if truly neutral, and if not why not come out?

You really are that far gone hey.
What I don't understand is why you even bother trying on all these outright falsehoods.
Just own the fact that you like the authoritarian in the race, and his pro corporate, anti worker policies and positions, his pride in belittling knowledge, his fearmongering and scapegoating of minorities etc.
Just own it. You won't even have to pretend about things like his incoherency and temperament anymore, you won't have to selectively ignore posts that debunk you at every turn. We already see through it all anyway.
