To suggest that Kommola isn't at least a few miles behind Trump when it comes to coherent and articulate delivery and government policy detail is truly laughable.

Your blinkered bias is showing.
Ok mate, you had a good run. Just got a little bit too cute here.

Well played on the long con parody account, you got us :tearsofjoy:

You think the media give trump a better run than Harris?

In relation to what he says, does, is and will be.....absolutely.

How the media don't brutally pick apart every idiotic thing he says at rallies, writes on X, does in the media, boggles the mind. They all just sit there and go "Oh that's just Trump", like he gets a free pass for being an arseh*le.

In any civilised country outside of the U.S, someone like Trump would never have gotten within a thousand miles of running a country, yet here we are at a 50-50 split.

No, it’s actually the perfect answer.
She is a woman, a woman of colour, one that has experience in all three executive branches of the U.S Government.
Neither of the other two have had that experience!
Simples!

That means nothing to a Latin single mother working three minimum wage jobs to keep food on the table? What change will there be for ordinary people, is the clear question.

You and spinynorman aren't Trumpers per se, but both of you absolutely revel in repeatedly posting "tut, tut Democrats" posts, gleefully pointing at anything that is even a slightly negative reflection on the Democrats and "warning" that they are in danger of losing the election.

I have no doubt that both of you are secretly hoping for a Trump win to vindicate your oft-stated views.

I've become increasingly convinced that no change is possible until Trump is done, so no, I really want him to finally go away. 2016 might as well be the true end of history, because since then there's a demand for full throated support of vacuousness because the alternative is too dangerous. Until we can get over that some people mightn't be deferential to the Democratic leadership, including 98% of people posting here who don't even vote, then we're going to be stuck chastising those unenthusiastic about the direction of the world.

I have wanted to post that so many times.

I actually don't have any problems others pointing out legitimate criticisms about the Dems/Harris and when I see something like that posted always google and try to read more about it.

I've seen you post that you're fine with legitimate criticisms about the Dems/Harris than you actually accept and agree with legitimate criticisms about the Dems/Harris.

Yet Trump who is an appalling excuse for a human being doesn't receive much, any? criticism.
'Oh well that's just Trump' seems to be the best we get.

Kinda? We pretty much know what he is at this point, it's hard to come up with unique ways to describe his vileness (especially when I do see a new surprising low, only to find there's 50 other posters making that same post already).

Some objectivity would be good if truly neutral, and if not why not come out?

I've never said I was neutral or objective, and I don't think pjcrows has either. I think it's pretty apparent we're both well to the left of Kamala (and therefore Trump also). That's more FireKrakouer, whose perspective is different again.

You're wrong, but that's fine.

You are wasting your time.

It's straight outta the ol' socialists playbook - one rule for thee and another rule for me.

The Trump train is gathering unstoppable momentum while his haters are running late and don't have a ticket.

Enjoy the ride to victory!

Appreciate the acknowledgement but Trump isn't a victory, mate! I lean more towards those socialists you admonish.

Legitimate yes, being on a Late Night show and not outlining policies is hardly not legitimate.. Petty? Yes.

So let's give a vile person a pass, right? Just stay silent, okay.

50? Surely you jest.

Not so sure about you not portraying a neutral or having objective position and really can't be bothered searching your posts.

Not sure why you are bringing in FireKrakouer, he has been consistent in his position since the threads on USA elections started. Everyone knows FK's position.

We've been over this a dozen or more times before. Yes, no doubt you're a lefter than left leftie. And it is clear that you are extremely disappointed with the Democrats for not being even close to left. It has resulted in you having a far greater disdain for Biden and Harris than you have for Trump (who, for consistency reasons, should be your number 1 dislike, but isn't).

Perhaps it is conscious, perhaps not, but a large proportion of your posts are pretty snipy of the Democrats. You don't miss many chances to stick the boots in.

For clarity, my own personal position is that if the current group of Democrats were up against almost anyone else, I would be very glad for them to be beaten at the upcoming election.

I'd say a promise to not be part of the largest mass deportation in history would be a good one.

I can't even visualise what that would entail.

Massive amount of Immigration squads raiding homes, workplaces packing them onto buses, taking them to a camp or tent city then an entire fleet of airplanes to take them away?

Cost?

Where to Nambia and Thighland

Most likely an Ark.

"It'll be a huge Ark. Perhaps the greatest Ark of all time. Noah built an Ark, but it's not as big as my Ark."

As an objective centrist, we simply have to go against the lobbyist-infected establishment here... Dems are kinder with their rhetoric, harsher with their actions. The Cheney, McCain, Bush, Clinton etc dynasties of the uniparty all being against someone = valid reason to support that someone. Trump ain't the perfect response to the problem, Sanders would've been better, yet it was surprisingly the GOP who allowed a democratic selection of their candidate whilst the Dems keep rigging theirs against anyone who isn't a Wallstreet / MIC lapdog.

As RFK said... let's ignore the mean tweets m8, let's make America healthy again!

Yes, party members are supposed to weed out the village idiots early in the pre-selection process. Whilst the best people have successful careers and families they love you are still supposed to recruit and nominate a decent person as the representative of the people in Congress.

I was very critical of the dems when it looked like they were stubbornly going to run Biden, and rightfully critical.

But I think they have run the Harris campaign pretty well so far all things considered. The convention was a success, she did well in the debates and she is not ignoring certain areas like Hillary did in 2016.

Do not subscribe to the hard left theory that a Trump win will be the same as a Harris win.
