Carlton v Hawks Thursday Night

Sam Walsh AGS
Hawks 1-39 pts

Odds: $5.50

Topped up a little bit more on Ladbrokes at $7.16 (1u)

Hawks very good against Carlton last year . Not too sure if the gap has closed between these two teams. See a Hawks win still and Walsh to kick a goal like he did last week. Hoping the extra day rest , and Hawks playing 3 games to Carltons 2 , might keep this a closer contest. Hawks lost the 2nd half to a 'fresher' Essendon last week.

Thats my first play for this week.

O'Donnell has a broken jaw and is potentially going to be out. He's not coming into the team as he played 3 quarters last week before being subbed out. Best case scenario is he stays in the team.

Buku will be in to replace Cleary as the 3rd tall after Archer deleted him.

No change to Freijah's role based on these changes but he might push into the mids again and snag 3 goals to make the dreams of the degens come true.

If Charlie Cameron is good to go this week I’ll back him for a bag against a horrible west coast at the Gabba

$7.50/$15/$41 4-6 PB

I reckon it’ll be Rayner. Cameron will get Hough who is decent enough as a lockdown defender.

Decent heat map, was busy early (9 disposals 0.2 1st quarter) and did his usual 2nd half disappearing act.

Probably chase Bailey too, he can easily kick 4 again

This is spot on. No thanks. Ended up in the middle late in the game tagging a north mid which explains the possies forward of centre. Unless he plays that role again he will be half back

Jeremy Cameron 1-3 sgm loophole @ 2.10
Jeremy Cameron 4 bonus bet @ 4

Both with sb. St will be better after last week and back at marvel but 1 a quarter seems reasonable

I like fogarty again for 4+ he played deeper than Thilthorpe and did none of the rucktime compared to Thilthorpe. If walker gets subbed early again too it sometimes leaves him 1 out in the goal square.
Your right, Thilthorpe plays less time foward going into the ruck and that's the risk with him, I'm still confident both him and Fog will kick plenty this year

Jeremy Finlayson has excellent odds on b365. Rumours going around that he will play his usual role of forward and pinch hit ruck.

Esava Ratugolea will be back this week pushing finlayson forward.

1+ $2.40
2+ $12
3+ $61

These are amazing odds for a player going forward this week against the tigers playing away interstate.

Tailed @ the smashed odds of:
3+ 19
4+ 81

A couple of SB bonus bets

Hawks 1-39
Crows W
Dockers 1-39 @9.45

Hawks W
Pies W
Crows W
Cats W
Roos + 20.5
Dockers W @22.65
Only getting 7.40 and 13.74 for those now and Roos line into +18.5, so aging nicely. The teams just gotta get the job done now.
