The boys who didn't play last week are absolutely putting their hand up today so far
Sharman is straight in no question, absolutely on fire.

Henry has a spring in his step rarely seen so far this year.

Carroll doing really good things, Tobie has been really clean by foot playing primarily as a half back. TT still getting plenty of RL instructions, as is Hammer.

There's a really good vibe to this session.

Interestingly, Tobes has started the match simulation stuff on the 'a' team with last week's guys (plus Sharmo)
Ok so

Travaglia in for Stocker
Sharman in for Byrnes (Wood going to wing)
Boxshall & Carroll for Clark & Garcia

4 changes potentially

Could also easily be Boxshall stays out and Byrnes is sub

I think it means Wood goes back to the wing

Coop Owens Keels fwds

Stocker out - Byrnes potentially 7th defender to make way for Wood wing

Alternatively, bring Arie in and drop Byrnes entirely

I like the look of that FWD line! A glimpse into the future and dare I say it, a premiership FWD line.

They are all different in their attributes and bring something to the table:

Cooper: 1.93m tall, on the move, leads out, very strong mark, terrific set shot for goal.
Owens: 1.91m tall, strong, bustling, breaks packs, doesn't flinch, always on the move aswell, needs improvement with shooting for goal.
Keeler: 1.98m tall, doesn't appear to be strong, good mark, god below the knees, good set shot.

Very exciting.

Keels with a great mark on the lead, he was too easily outmuscled/pushed under the contest vs Geelong but on a lead in the air he will be near on unstoppable. He put it through and he got a bit round of applause from the crowd. Rivers had a chuckle at the applause...

Hammer repelling everything down back, the kids a natural born defender.

Lance has a great vertical and sticky hands, getting up the ground a lot more than I've seen in the past.

Tobes back in the 'b' side, playing more midfield. Doesn't mean much as Windy also has bib on.

Sharman continues to dominate, his preseason was so good before his injury - I'm pretty bullish on him this year.

The thing I'm loving about this is you look at the B team and they almost all have the potential to be putting their hand up for selection

Would assume the interchange from A team would have bibs on right?

I think Garcia plays.

I'd say Sharman is the only definite in.

If I was selecting the side I'd probably bring in Carroll and Travaglia. Obviously Stocker drops out with Clark, and I wouldn't be shocked if Tobes comes in for Irish.

I was completely wrong about Higgins last week, but I'll go again with an unsubstantiated (injury) out (Irish).

Boxy would probably be the best like for like replacement of Clark, deserves a run after his preseason but didn't stand out as much as I would've hoped today.

Props to Windy, Sharman and Hammer who trained the house down today.

If Hammer keeps this up Howard might not get many more games.

He's a freak Rosco. He's a quirky character but super engaging and has this underlying feeling of stability where you can tell he's across everything. He's the opposite to Richo who was all bluff and no substance.

Has to play.

Ross has always had 3 talls backs - with one being able to play on more smaller mobile types.

Probably does but if O'Connell keeps going forward even that isn't guaranteed.

O’Connell played on their smalls. Not their talls.

If anything. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we saw a transition from Jimmy to Irish in about 2 months time

Just had a look and he's only 189 cm. Thought he'd be a bit taller than that. Must be because he's skinny. Looks about 193+

He is deceptive. Maybe he can play third tall in a couple of years.

But we need another tall back.

Caminiti Howard with Wilkie works.

Give us the opportunity to play Tauru as a looser half back that plays a kick behind a high half forward
