Welcome to the 2025 My Boy draft, starting nice and early this year so we have as little visibility of the pre-season as possible to change our minds on who we like.
This year we're going to up the ante a bit. One thing I always enjoy watching at draft time is the mad scramble to be the first poster to make the thread for the skinny 18 year old the club just drafted. The stakes for Isaac Kako were so high that no less than four separate posters threw their hat in the ring in an attempt to snag the rights for his OP, and some even tried to earnestly bag the thread weeks before Kako had even joined the club. These actions, while hilarious, provided the inspiration for the twist to this year's My Boy draft - in 2025 you get the ownership of the thread for the player you draft.
This means you can:
Rules:
1. No trading picks, no trading players.
2. If there's nobody left on the board that you like, you may pass.
3. Draft order will be generated at random once sign ups are complete, everyone has one selection in draft order
4. If there are players remaining at the end of the first round, the draft order will be randomly redone for round 2.
5. You can't dibs a player before the draft. Duh.

- Edit the OP of the thread to detail whatever obscure information you want about the player, or make your mark by outlaying just how much they mean to you*
- Edit the title of the thread to announce to the world about your boy's 9 kick, 2 mark game on the weekend. *
- .... that's really about it. But hey, at least it's more reward than what you've gotten before!
