Interrupted preseason for someone you’re not likely to get value out of is a big no. Been there and done that.

Maybe a bit different with the rucks given you’d want to end up with the same 2 anyway but this is a good enough reason to just go Xerri and someone else I think.

Broken leg and 10-12 weeks is a pretty clear cut injury

The different tone around marshall is more the unknown if it. It’s definite alarm bells/line through him, every chance the vague wording is more because they don’t want to admit the worst case scenario is that the words “Round 1 or soon thereafter” is sugar coating it ( and they’ve admitted as such saying the scan results will tell them more- this report is the hopeful version not the worst case one)

Even if he plays rd 1 it will 100% be off a very light load but I think he’s more chance to miss a month than play rd 1.
