In what world is Day anywhere near the top 10 players in the comp? Is his role to get tackled and give away frees?

Clearly a directive from Mitchell to take the tackle and not dispose of the ball into an uncontrolled contest. Good for winning games of footy, not great for fantasy.

I guess the question was on the source as it seemed to suggest he was playing tonight which he isn't which might mean the info is wrong.

This is my team with 98k in the kitty. Any suggestions or ideas?



Ive gone a bit top heavy on Suns and Giants players in initial few rounds, so know Im not going to 'super well' this round. Ideal world is to keep all Suns and Giants players but if I can make a case for getting rid of 1 or 2, Ill take all suggestions on board.

I would trade those two sitting on your bench in defence. Neither will generate much more cash and with the $1.45m they will give back gets SDK and M.Roberts on the field and bench Saad and either Reid or Trainor.

Love the SDK play. I didnt realise he was priced under $650k. If he 60% as good his brother- its a cracker of a trade.

It's still a risk because he hasn't had that many games as ruck and last year was up and down as main ruck, but he's starting to look good. Plus, he's still cheap, so I think it's worth the risk especially if you don't have the cash to go all the way up to a NWM or someone more expensive.

The options are you go 1 up and 1 down, which leaves you with an extra rookie, or take the risk with 2 mid pricers.

I think you've missed the point a bit mate. No one's having a crack at you. You'll notice in the post you've quoted I say that the question was on the source.

Yeah I'd get on now, especially as SDK doesn't have an early bye and should get a best 18 score. Don't want to be relying on rookies when taking best 18 scores.

Freijah is another good one in the $600s and doesn't have an early bye either but has the rd 12 bye.

I'd go the two mid-pricers so long as their BE are low - they will make you cash and help get up to NWM or Sinclair later on.

Yes, those who picked him was for the cash grab and I still think it was worth it as long as he wasn't on your field last week. My only problem was I fell for all the cash grabs. Really didn't need that many - Perryman, Taylor, Ash, Day, because now I have to figure out how to get them out of my team in a timely manner especially since they all have byes. Callaghan was the only keeper of the cash grabs, while I'll give Perryman one more week before deciding if he's a trade out.

I also embarrassingly last minute traded out Cerra over Day (up to Powell). I don't know what I was thinking. I just keep thinking back to how Day scored 99 in a half in pre-season, despite looking terrible last week. What a massive mistake, especially since I had Day out all week.

He generated 83k.

He would have generated 100k if he scored 57 or so. He scored 47.

Conditions last night I felt like weren't going to favour his game style. One thing he has is pace......he is in my team but when would be a good time to rid of him? Is $834k now at a point where he is sellable?

Mate the query was just around the use of late out by the source when the player wasn't playing today. It isn't that deep! If you're going to get your back up that much over a mild follow up question maybe posting 'scoops' isn't for you!
