Trades 2025 Fantasy Round 2 Trades

Annual reminder to only make your trades before Thursday lockout if you had to.

Had a hard time reversing my trades the other day because it involved somebody in the Utility position. Rollback team I think is not available post lockout if any player locked out is in a different spot

Glad boyd is out, means its not a disaster that I didnt start him and I dont have to get him in now haha

Taylor to Ashcroft my only locked trade so far, looking at probably going into SDK for my other trade(already have Lindsay).
Just dont see many other amazing value options.
My 2nd trade options:
1.Perryman to SDK
2.Ash to SDK
3.Hutchinson to Hall

Leaning to getting in SDK just to follow the crowd, ill flip a coin tomorrow to decide which if Perryman or Ash go out, unless I see something that convinces me in either direction before then


Was considering Day to Knevitt, but I really dont wanna trade out a guy who plays to early in the round just in case he goes big haha, would have to wait a full 24 hours to take my mind off it.

People are arguing his scoring is not impacted by ruck contests so who he plays wouldn't matter if those opinions are correct.

Its not so much that he wouldnt be capable of scoring, its that you dont let Gawn or Mcinerney run around unopposed like you can do with Reidy. Theyre way too damaging.
Marshall will rack up touches around the ground but hes not as damaging as Gawn or Mcinerney imo

I'm surprised Boyd was dropped. Marshall was so underdone last week with no pre-season and finished early with ice on his knee. Now he's expected to ruck the whole game against a very mobile ruckman?

I reckon Keeler will get his chance against a relatively soft matchup in SDK this week.
Keeler is another of those athletic talls that wont dominate hitouts

Marshall when playing as the solo ruck doesnt really provide much of an outlet kick down the line or a forward target I notice, he racks up the ball though.
Mcinerney is more similar to Gawn imo, while not being as good obviously

So I had Hollands & Haynes > Lindsay & SDK last night . I checked at 7:05pm after being stick at work and i must have reversed them ffs. So now stuck with Hollands & Haynes locked. They were the easiest trade outs ever.

Now need to think about next move. I've got Lalor, Ashcroft, FOS, Camp and batting to M7 with Hollands.

SDK is a must, given Haynes is locked Perryman > SDK makes sense. I think he can bounce back but with a high BE and bye - should probably do this. Could then bring in Max Hall in FWD given theres no one to trade out in the mids and have the above rookies. This would work out well if he keeps his spot. Then use the cash next week to go Hollands > Lindsay & Haynes up to a premium.

Be good to get some thoughts!

So glad to bank extra cash for next week and get rid of the most frustrating guy to watch in Day. Every time I noticed him do something good he gave away a free kick the next second.

That sucks that the trades didn’t save. Haynes stinked it up.
Looking at your team I don’t know who to trade, it seems as if you’re keen to keep Callaghan which is fair. Not sure how else you can get to X Lindsay. I wouldn’t recommend Lalor to him but it may be the only way.

Was going Perryman to Freijah but concerned at teamsheets, thinking the dogs might bring in a tall as a late in? Otherwise Freijah might be on one of the 3 KPFs at Collingwood. Would be mad to not play him midfield.

Am considering just building a huge war chest this week. Agree Lalor seems like a waste as he should be fine.
