Trades 2025 Fantasy Round 3 Trades

And the issue is that he gets a fair amount of unwarranted crap on social media.

Because the Traders give off the vibe of just a couple of mates talking Fantasy and giving each other shit, a lot of people assume that by listening they are in on that as well. But there's a difference between your mates giving you shit, and then some random guy online doing it. I would imagine that most of the people that get blocked by the Traders on socials simply don't understand that.
Yeah I mentioned this the other day. They give each other shit and some are "in on it" but there's others who take it seriously and get pretty full on with them.

Didn't they literally say Stewart had PCL damage? Yeah they said it was minor but I'm calling BS on the 30 year old not even having a week off.

Probably the same for Smith. Geelong and their dumb tricks

IF both Stewart and Smith play ....I can see one being subbed ....although my gut says one will also be a late out

Honestly, I don't even care if Smith is a late out. All that matters with Smith is we're all in the same boat. There would have only been a small minority that trade last week. If he's named all the way up to a potential late out, there will be limited traders again. If 90% of us all cop the Smith out, it's honestly not a bad result during Best 18.

Excellent way of looking at it ....Stewart the bigger hurt factor, saved somewhat by best 18 week

Even if people trade him what are the fwd options? Fwd premos you just as likely to get an 80-90 score so it's not much gain on a rookie.

Only way people would make decent ground in a b18 week if they were mega cashed up and could trade Smith to a big dog mid via DPP with a juicy matchup to a get 120 type score.

I can feel a late out coming ....GEEL, you're on the clock

BTW, I have both 😿

Kinda hope Stewart plays in the wet. Probably only gets half a game anyway before he gets subbed out on a score of 20. Will be a very nice price in a few weeks time.
Happy Chris Pratt GIF

If given a good run in the team plus Bice, the backline options are looking fine.

Not great but fine.
Obviously no one will want to jump on Travaglia this week but rather wait to see role, score and if he is named next week. The problem arises we may then need to go double down to get both Bice and Travaglia if he looks the goods.

So perhaps a word of warning for those planning on carrying cash into next week to spend up instead?

Yeah it's an interesting one.

If Travaglia is not sub I might double upgrade this week with the plan to get both him and Bice next week. I think Bice is a must have. Travaglia is a potential must have

It's awkward timing. It will be easier if he's named sub to give us a couple weeks to hold off

Getting off Prior and Reid on their bye for Travaglia and Bice would be too convenient.

Don't make this more confusing for me! Get Lindsay and ashcroft and hold 750k or give one a miss??

Hm if the plan is to double downgrade next week, do I avoid taking an extra 200k into next week and go Sinclair over Farrell.

Maybe not. When in doubt, cash in bank is always helpful.
I'm pondering the same trade this week. Something tells me I'm going to need the $200k down the line for best 22 to get rooks off field so Farrell is the smarter play longterm. But the Sinclair v Richmond match up is so tantalising.

Still tossing up what to do:

Out: (2 of)
FOS
Day
Garcia

In:
Knevitt
Premo
Rook (clohesy, Moraes, other)

I have the low BE 'must haves' Ashcroft, Lindsay, as well as Draper, hall, Davidson, NOD...

Thinking Knevitt is my main priority as a possible mid term play until he tops out. Even with a modest disposal game in the wet, he could still easily register 7 or 8 tackles.

Not convinced Day is an urgent out this week as most are suggesting, but him along with Garcia and FOS, would be my 3 priority Outs based on the BEs. Just not sure which one to hang on to

Sinclair has the better mid season bye, and is more assured of Top 6 Defender status. But I already have NWM so feels like I am covered somewhat with Saints backline players.

Very small sample size on Farrell, but from memory he performed okay with Houston out of the side last year, and this year (particularly with no Finlayson last round) he has been good. I think he can hover around a mid 90s average which makes him good value at 830k. Im sticking with Farrell for now, and taking the coin into next week. Might change when teams drop later today.
