Because we always going there. We didn't avoid a trip to the cattery after copping the cats in Gather round this year. Not expecting anything different next year.
Not so much with Brisbane.
Not saying it won't happen but your logic is flawed.

It's irrelevant, the games are neutral - the only difference it really makes is to the jumper a club might wear.Did Morris say it was our home?
Happy with Norwood considering our recent AO record.
Sets us up well, Melbourne bottom 4 next year. We'll smashémIf we get Melbourne away again round 1….
With the format being QLD + NSW teams matched up against Victorian teams, it should come as no surprise to anyone that after 2 years of Opening Round, Collingwood will have had 2 years of playing in Opening Round, while Saints, North and Bulldogs have been overlooked entirely.Predictably missed a Guernsey for Opening Round.
Absolutely incredible and yet completely unsurprising that the absolute vast majority of fans hate the ****ing concept, but they're plowing ahead with it anyway...

Hawks/Bombers is confirmed for the round 1 game on Friday thr 14th, so that is a start at least. Would just need Cats/Pies, Lions/Suns and Giants/Swans to make it at least somewhat balanced compared to last year. This shit was made official this morning.
At the very least, I hope the AFL have fixtured a combination of those clubs to all play each other in round 1. We got screwed last year, if we cop another of these clubs in round 1, I might lose my mind.
Full fixture released this week, so we’ll find out soon enough just how badly Dillon & co have ****ed it up.
