There had to be a reaction to our disappointing 2024 season. Looking back 12 months ago we sat on our hands. Didn't land any meaningful trades or free agents, got weaker with our off-field coaching structure with no replacement.

The seeds of our poor 2024 were sown 12 months ago. In such a tight competition even slight missteps see you off the pace.

Now added good players, added an experienced footy brain. Vast improvement. Possibly got ahead of ourselves last year? Thought we were trending up and had the pieces in place so didn't sweat it.

A shame it was a lesson we had to learn and you figure with shrewder footy men than Kelly & Roo at the helm we would have treated last offseason very differently

Who do you or others here think drove the reviews and changes that made us much more aggressive in bringing in much needed players and tweaking the coaching side of this? Did it begin with Olsen?

the board should be giving Nicks 5 games and if we are not in positive win loss and looking very competitive...he is gone.

No more excuses. The tools are there especially with the offseason aquisitions.

Agree. A poor first 5 is salvageable. We can’t waste another year of Dawson and Rankine.
