As good a season as he had I think Scholl maybe under the pumpB: Michalanney Murray Keane
HB: Hinge Worrell Cumming
C: Scholl Dawson Curtin
HF: Keays Thilthorpe Peatling
F: Rachele Fog ANB
R: O’Brien, Rankine, Soligo
I/C: Tex, M Crouch, Bond, Nankervis Sub- Taylor
Emg: Butts , Berry, Pedlar, Jones
Would love to see Curtin trained up on a wing in a Mason wood type role
* Draper likely plays round 1 if drafted at pick 4 instead of Nank who moves to sub
Comp for spots is hot

Sholl had a fantastic year, particularly the back half of it.B Worrell - Murray - Michalanney
HB Hinge - Keane - Cumming
R O'Brien - Dawson - Rankine
C Curtin - Soligo - Sholl
HF Rachele - Fogarty - Neal-Bullen
F Walker - Thilthorpe - Keays
I Peatling - Nankervis - Pick 4 - Pedlar
S Taylor
E Crouch - Laird - Dowling - Welsh
Need to move on from the red players imo. Plus Walker.
Wishful thinking to have laird and crouch emergencies. They’ll be amongst the first picked.
Personally I doubt very much Welsh ever holds down a Key position forward role, at least not if Thilthorpe and Fogarty are fit. Welsh IMO is more likely the 3rd tall/medium forward in a future Crows outfit if he measures up.B: Bond, Murray, Keane
HB: Michaelanny, Worrell, Hinge
C: Dawson, Soligo, Cumming
HF: Rachele, Fogarty, ANB
F: Walker, Thilthorpe, Keays
R: O’Brien, Crouch, Rankine
I: Peatling, Curtin, Pick 4, Dowling
Sub: Taylor
E: Milera, Sholl, Butts, Ryan
People might disagree but I liked ond playing that smaller fast defender role and letting Michaelanny play a more attacking role. I also think that we should keep the other young guys in the team and let them develop instead of rotting away in the SANFL. I would like Dawson to be a swing player who can go back to help defend and be that link up player because hes such a good overhead mark. Eventually Tex will be replaced by Welsh and hopefully Obrien can be replaced with a good new young ruckman. They could also potentially start Peatling in the forward pocket for the CBA and then once thats done he swaps with Rankine and pushes up into the midfield.
That’s ideal, I think. Fog, TT, then Welsh as quick/mobile leading 3rd tall, and then smalls - ANB, Rachele/Rankine, Keays.Personally I doubt very much Welsh ever holds down a Key position forward role, at least not if Thilthorpe and Fogarty are fit. I think after the season Sholl had he is best 22 IMO.. so he takes either Bind or Dowling's spot in the side. other than that i think your side looks great.B: Bond, Murray, Keane

Rankine and Dawson are AA level players already. Michaelanny has the most potential out of those young defenders to be pushing for selection soon. Thilthorpe the obvious chance within 2-3 years at current trajectory.B: Michaelanny, Murray, Worrell

We suddenly have depth:
Really unlucky not to be in the 22 cos they're decent:
Berry
Dowling
Bond
Taylor
Butts
Still bullish these guys pull out the finger and shine:
Jones
Cook
Pedlar
Laird (yes he still can)
These guys need games:
Ryan
Edwards
Everyone else is depth.
Crazy that we now have 12 or so players out of the 22 that I'm happy to see in it.
We are still missing the real top end - AA level players. Need to evolve some guys into that. Still missing another ruck. Is Turray going to be a ruck?
Agree with this - still pretty thin on elite talent... a very workman-like side. IMO that means Adelaide are a finals team, but not a premiership team.Rankine and Dawson are AA level players already. Michaelanny has the most potential out of those young defenders to be pushing for selection soon. Thilthorpe the obvious chance within 2-3 years at current trajectory.
I get what he brings. I do not see him impacting a final (should we ever play one again).Sholl had a fantastic year, particularly the back half of it.
He's a lock to start the year.
He did improve his toughness around the ball a bit last year, but yes he may not be a "finals' type.I get what he brings. I do not see him impacting a final (should we ever play one again).
As such I would trade while someone may be interested.
You're not playing RT as first ruck ??B: Bond Butts Max
HB: Hinge Keane Worrell
C: Cumming Crouch Dawson
HF: ANB Fogarty Rankine
F: Rachelle Walker Keays
R: Thilthorpe Soligo Peatling
I: Murray Curtin Nankervis Taylor

For talent + upside.
TT and Murray as ruck/forwards, as I’d rather Butts in the side than ROB.
No ROB. No Laird. No Murphy. No Sholl.
