IIRC Gawn was all but ruled out of a game, doing a last minute fitness test ....he went on to score 187 IIRC

Early days .....I'm holding the faith ....might affect him for 4 weeks

Yeah maybe. I don't want to start Petracca AND Oliver. This might decide it.

Are people starting Butters / Rozee and JHF .....that's worse, along with all the Bulldogs on the same R12 Bye

I have a work colleague who just had a cracked rib from a car accident. I know they are not all the same, and she's no professional athlete, but it took 6 weeks before it stopped hurting when she breathed in. Cracked ribs are no fun. He will lose a significant training block.

He’s damn cheap. Value for sure. I wonder how high his ceiling is though as he seems to struggle with close attention
I think his ceiling is Bont level. I think he's that good. He impacts the game a lot with little possessions.

Also his AF/SC score ratio is insane. Check out this run in 2024:

AF avg: 91
SC avg: 114
and that's with no preseason...

If he gets through the preseason unscathed, he's locked in.

Ageee with this.

Take out his two games subbed at the end of the season and he’s averaged 100 (including first couple of games back post injury), with no preseason. Also his first game back they got belted by the Swans.

Hawks should improve. Hitting prime years turning 24 this year.

He’s a 🔒 for me as well if he stays fit 🤞

I think we're all missing the bigger point here.
Scoops' first official injury update of 2025.

On a serious note,.Cerra is actually pretty prolific, but he is also quite injury prone himself.
Shame on the Walsh front, still enough time. He can still be selected, I guess, just reckon he will always be at a little risk with the back,.the hammy would have a little back relation (you would think)

Newman out for the season......

Could just about be the end of his career. Will be 33 next year. Took O'meara a lot longer than a year to recover from the same type of injury IIRC.
