No lessons leaned from the Jimmy G experience is Las Vegas if the sign Darnold to a big contract....

well he looked like a Raider the last 2 games. I call tampering and he passed his Raiders QB audition

You wanted him, they listened. 😂
Look, as a bridge QB that we dont pay stupid money that we cannot get out of with no dead cap hit attached I dont mind it. As long as it isn't the sideshow QB we draft.

Don't worry Darnold will happily play for free coz Tom Brady is an owner of the Raiders.

I'm sure there is someone in the media who believes that could happen.

He's gone off the boil since his trips crown. 3 years of 60ish catches, 700ish yeards and 6 TD. RealI mid range WR performance and still some decent money left on his contract.

I think it will be away from the Rams, especially how the finished the year with his targets

Kupp had five catches for 61 yards in the Rams' season-ending loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Prior to that game, he had just 10 targets, 5 receptions, 82 receiving yards and no touchdowns in his previous five games, according to ESPN Research.
It'll be interesting to see whether he chases the ring or chases the money. He'd get paid handsomely to be the safety valve for a young QB like Maye, Ward or Sanders.

Sanders is the sort of guy you start right away and see if he sinks or swims. It's Milroe or Ewers that you draft to sit behind Darnold, the sort that's two years away from being two years away.

If it's a 1 season out deal while a rookie QB comes along its fine. Otherwise we stick with AOC.
I mean sure, if they're tanking for Arch, though there's no guarantee he declares next year. Otherwise it's just wasting a season of Crosby and Bowers.

Darnold could command like 20-30m tho
I'd think he'd be seeking $40m per year on a 3-4 year deal. Whether he gets it or not will depend on the qb needing teams. It's a Kirk Cousins comp.

The salary cap is booming, and should grow by another 20+ million per year in the coming seasons, so this would be the equivalent of a 15-20m outlay in todays cap.

Raiders have huge cap space nexg year so could gjve Darnold a juicy contract, draft a qb and hit FA pretty easily

This is so unbelievably :( .. the Steelers and Mike Tomlin are comfortable with mediocrity :(

Not alot they can do. The draft is rubbish for qbs, only darnold in free agency (steelers never win bidding wars).

If they reach in draft it will be another kenny pickett.

Youre missing the point. This will only bring about more mediocrity, trying to compete when you really have no shot with Russ as your QB. Better off trading TJ and others and ripping it down and getting a good draft pick for next year.

They are way better off selling off guys and rebuilding but steelers never ripping it down cause that would break tomlin's never having a losing season streak.

what a joke the NFL is haha, fined Mixon for something someone else said.

The league has fined Texans running back Joe Mixon for saying this after the Kansas City win: “Why play the game if every 50/50 call goes with Chiefs. These officials are trash and bias.”

Mixon didn’t say it. The quote is from a tweet included in an SI.com story regarding Mixon’s actual comments after the game.

Said Mixon, “Everybody know how it is playing up here. You can never leave it into the refs hands. The whole world see, man.”

The same article attributes the comment for which Mixon was fined not to Mixon but to former Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh. (Here’s the tweet.)

So just heard Mixon called the NFL out, just saying how am I getting fined for someone else's tweet, and got fined again by be NFL for calling them out. Seriously wtf.
