Also heard that there is a mass walkout on Surrey & the coach has stood down. Not sure if this is true but have been circulating
Surely not? All they have done is announce recruits in the last couple weeks.

Hear his good mates with Kayne Turner could be at BalwynStephenson retired from AFL. Going to join his mates at Mitcham?
100% already taken a call from Doncaster East
Hear his good mates with Kayne Turner could be at Balwyn
Well I hear his just sold an investment property in the south east suburbs for $1.9 Million so I think he be happy with what his got.Anyone who can offer a good job will be high on the list. I actually respect his call. Had a guaranteed contract for next season, didn't just go through the motions and collect the cash, walked away and lets norf give his list spot to someone else who wants to be there.
Makes sense for him to play with all his Ftg mates at MitchamThe rubbish about Surrey should be deleted immediately. As they say ‘who posts this crap’… They are in excellent shape and will be even better in 2025.
Stephenson may not play footy at all in 2025 I’m told. Just needs a break from the game. If he does play some football it is likely to not be at an EFNL club.
Could Stephenson end up back at FTG champp53 ?Makes sense for him to play with all his Ftg mates at Mitcham
Somewhere down the track I and we hope he might entertain the idea. Would just like to see him get over this and the crap he has had to endure from so called experts and others.Could Stephenson end up back at FTG champp53 ?
Would potentially be a 1 point player too seeing as he played under 19s there too.Reports of Ben Woodfull from Old Collegians to Surrey as well. Quality bigman
I think more relevant in country areas where a shortage of young people means you are more in need of external players to come in.
It would be good to see the metro leagues drop their points across the board by a little bit. They’re clearly too high as barely any clubs hit the limit, and the only clubs that do are the obvious pisstakers who are buying players from everywhere.
I imagine teams like Broadford coming out of recess next year will ask for more points and a bigger salary cap to try and have any chance of competingClubs can apply for additional points under this system as well for factors such as clubs without juniors (especially in an area with low population) or special circumstances, like Corowa-Rutherglen who have nine extra points after coming out of recess in 2024.
