100% already taken a call from Doncaster East
Hear his good mates with Kayne Turner could be at Balwyn

Anyone who can offer a good job will be high on the list. I actually respect his call. Had a guaranteed contract for next season, didn't just go through the motions and collect the cash, walked away and lets norf give his list spot to someone else who wants to be there.

Surrey Park walkout is just pure rubbish. Well Run club doing good things. They'll go well next season.

Great Get for Vermont with Weideman. He should tear it up
As for Stephenson, can't see him spending anymore time at the Eastwood golf club

Well I hear his just sold an investment property in the south east suburbs for $1.9 Million so I think he be happy with what his got.

The rubbish about Surrey should be deleted immediately. As they say ‘who posts this crap’… They are in excellent shape and will be even better in 2025.

Stephenson may not play footy at all in 2025 I’m told. Just needs a break from the game. If he does play some football it is likely to not be at an EFNL club.

Makes sense for him to play with all his Ftg mates at Mitcham

Stephenson may just enjoy playing local footy with his mates. He is walking away from a nice contract so it's not about the money.

It's great to see Weideman back, which is great for the Premier Division and Vermont. He also brings back the knowledge and experience from the Elite level.

I think more relevant in country areas where a shortage of young people means you are more in need of external players to come in.

It would be good to see the metro leagues drop their points across the board by a little bit. They’re clearly too high as barely any clubs hit the limit, and the only clubs that do are the obvious pisstakers who are buying players from everywhere.

Agreed, all though bottom division clubs with no juniors are cursed here, even if you have played one division higher or equivalent you become a 2 pointer. 22 two pointers become 44 points, not giving them much leeway to move

Clubs can apply for additional points under this system as well for factors such as clubs without juniors (especially in an area with low population) or special circumstances, like Corowa-Rutherglen who have nine extra points after coming out of recess in 2024.
I imagine teams like Broadford coming out of recess next year will ask for more points and a bigger salary cap to try and have any chance of competing
