Aah, so the picker is up and running? Will try take have a gander.
Hope Darcy Parish got a decent discount, he might be one to breed up to a big boi, but they might play funny buggers with the discounts as is their wont. Yeah, talking to you, Al Paton, if you are reading this. Stop toying with our emotions.
Doesn't really matter a heap what B Smith, J Macrae and Oliver cop, if they look the goods, everyone will be picking them.
Where did big TDK land price-wise on the ruck front? Any value there?
Any potential number one rucks coming in at big discounts? You could go a cheap ruck for the flex spot if one presents.
Keep an eye on Madden. Put up some insane stats in the VFL last year before a season ending injury. Reckon he'll put pressure on Briggs for the no. 1. ruck spot at the Giants at some stage this year. Might not be straight away, but if Briggs gets injured, he'll be in every SC team in the comp.

There's also a chance Big O could miss early games

Gee whiz, only flicked through this page, but you mob are UP and ABOUT, you've come back to pre-season champing at the bit.
Looks like you've put in big training blocks off your own bats down the dunes, Scoops has gone more the way of Travis Johnstone at a Torquay caravan park.
Preseason starts now Scoops, time to grind, to toil away honing the craft.

Still makes no sense.

Why would you start Bolton as the flex and (just picking a random premo forward) pick Dylan Moore when you could start Bolton forward and put (again, picking a random mid) Clayton Oliver in the flex?
Well sure

The point I was trying to make is that most years I wouldn’t start any players with high variance like KPF

Now there is the flex position it changes the risk / reward on taking one of those players

Whether that player is located in the forward line or the flex position doesn’t matter too much

First iteration.

Toughest pick so far would be D1; Newman, Clark and Short all possibilities. Missing JHF. Good chance a few rookies don't get through/don't get lucrative roles, but overall I like the team. Defence is once again the hardest line to fill at the start of the season.
Quite like Flynn at R3 but probs won’t go there myself (R2 . . .? Nah)

The fat piggy at M1 is a call though

Can't believe they are actually letting us pick 3 rucks. What a world.
Will be interesting to see the different strategies the content creator types land on.
jdstorm made a good case for the three premo ruck out of the gate option.
I was thinking someone like a Flynn might be a good option if he has his nose in front for the no. 1 ruck role. Means one less potential absolute topliner in your scores early, but less spend and a Flynn rucking solo will do what rucks do and give the ton a nudge, that puts him ahead of a lot of DEF and FWD types from one week to the next,.so you still get a bit of a bump.

Realistically, what I just wrote is a bit like arguing with your mate about whether to go a Status Quo or a Bridge Road Brewers Beechworrh Pale Ale when you shout a round of drinks you're planning in September 2037.
