I wonder if hes behind the others in the pecking order or if he was just late in expressing interest (by which time our SPP spots were taken)?
I remember we spoke to Phillips at trade time but according to Soapy V he had better options at that time. We dont really need any more KPD in our VFL program.

It sounds like misdirection since he was "spotted"
He was out there on the track, so may still be in the mix.....who knows?
I'd actually be disappointed if we re-signed Carroll or Nigel. There's no immediate need for Carroll after we drafted Charleson, so could develop another year in our VFL program. Durdin just can't stay on the park.
I'd still be looking to take McMahon and Phillips/DGB as our key back ups - and would prefer White over Carroll, although our recruiters may think we're pretty well covered for smaller forwards with Durds, Motlop, Zaccy, Orazio and Fog. The kid can really play though.
I think his kicking is generally pretty good, if he has a bit of time. Slow hand to foot less of an issue in the backline where hed have more space.

Agreed. Seems like the move is more to get Ollie’s confidence up by getting more of the ball. Still projects as a wing-type player.

The previous session, #5 was out there. BlueAbroad said it wasn't Cerra and he was told it was Francis Evans. Must be the ex-Port guy.
Okay, that clarifies the player I was trying to work out in the video.....he's the one just behind Monahan and Ollie in the running drill....so shows he's got some decent running capacity.

Anyone we don’t sign in the SSP, I hope we grab for the VFL team. Keep them within our system so if we need a MSD pick, we have someone to grab straight out of the VFL. If they come on in the VFL system, look at them as a rookie next year maybe.
