Lord would play with Hewett, not instead of him
Don’t really see how that works. Cripps Walsh Cerra pick 3 Hewett and lord? Not many dual position players there and that’s not including the other rotations of Elijah fog possibly doc who can pinch in there. 6 mids not including wingmen or ruckmen is a lot

I’m happy to see it though, just means someone is getting sacrificed somewhere else

I am hoping that you are right and pick 3 is a walk up start because he is just THAT GOOD. Sam Walsh style.

He will have to be to push Georgie Boy out of the team, he is very underrated by some.

Last season he was IMO close to our No.2 mid (unfortunately mainly because Sam was struggling with that back)

And yes, Lord does look like he is ready to get in there full time, all be it off a very small sample........ :thumbsu: 👏

I love hewett. Thought it was criminal he got dropped last year. I expect if we pick Jagga or Draper to play straight away, if we picked fos he’d start forward or in the 2s. It’s definitely gonna be tough going for the midfielders this year if you aren’t Cripps or Walsh

One could spend time forward, one on the bench, but would be great if all are available. I can't see Hewett missing for Lord though

Elijah, Doc could certainly still do some rotations, not sure Fog is part of that list

Perhaps, but it's about the right fit of the selected 23

I think you’ll find that the top 5 or so will be equal if not better than Walsh.
