Rather one good one than half a dozen wanna bee’s like the Carlton Board.
They make gainful information gathering a waste of time making S#it up to outdo each other.
HAW Board has the best training reports IMO

Welsh had been under the watch of the Crows all year and likely years before that. They’ve made the decision to pick him up. Would it not be in their interest to fatten him up a bit, make him unattractive to the other clubs, so they potentially pay less draft capital for him? He’d burn that and turn to muscle pretty quickly in a pre-season. If it’s purely indiscipline, then they must rate him anyway. They know what they’re getting and they must rate him. You don’t give an AFL list spot away.

Rory Sloane got one this year and Brodie Smith next year.

I haven't seen alot of him to comment, but is it possible we just had him on the same fitness routine as Thilthorpe and the added size is deliberate?

I still wonder if we prioritised strength over speed last off-season and will see alot more running this year

Thilthorpe put on pure muscle and size, Welsh however...

I couldn't imagine life without dogs.

So loyal.

Waiting for me when I get home.

When I used to travel our oldest one (now passed away) would wait by the front door for me to come home.
The Fauves were right. Dogs ARE the best people.

Glad doctor thinks you are healthy as we can't take it for granted.

I have never been buff as not a gym junkie... always been a runner or walker... as those who have met me know I'm rather lean.

Just finished the better half's best ever cooked 3.5 hours pork ribs with bourbon & Chili sauce. I only had to cook the mash & arrange the Murray Street GSM to accompany it. Will need to walk it off tomorrow lol.
Was in the West yesterday and picked up some marinated pork ribs from the butcher at St Clair shopping Center for $10 per kg. We did the same as you and slow cooked them, before adding a bit of BBQ sauce and zapping them to char them off and served with some southern type relatively healthy and tasty vegetables.

Definitely not! He doesn't need to add size and anything he has added is fat, by the look of it. He needs to develop musculature.

It's going to be very interesting to see what sort of shape some of them arrive in.

Schoenberg needs to be in the best shape of his life or his AFL career is over.

Cook will need to have added significant strength as well as running power. If he still looks like he's 13 years old then his career is done.

Jones will need to have some zip back in his legs. He (understandably) lost it after the foot injury. Hopefully it's back.

Two of those three just aren't any good, regardless of fitness levels. Cook might still make it but it's looking less likely now.

Pedlar is the one who needs to pull his finger out. In 2024 he looked gassed just jogging to his position before the game started. If he was a third round pick, he would have been delisted by now.

Yes absolutely add him to the list. He needs to have developed a significant tank or his career is over. Shame because he definitely has something.

Cook will be the same age that Tom Lynch was when he started for us. Would have had 1 extra season though. Lynch only played 6 games in his first season for us. There is still hope for Cook, but needs to do it next season.

Disagree re Harry - he's got a game, just needs to find it consistently. Some of the things he did in his first handful of games gave me genuine cause for optimism. You don't just lose that, he's got it in him. Whether he can find the formuia is the big thing.

Def agree with Peds - he needs to extract the digit this year.
