For an extra 17k you can get Butters who plays the extra game early. Think Daicos as a mid only is a very easy fade this year as a starting pick
Love the way this team is set up. I think you’re still probably one captain option short, need to have a couple of options early.
I looked at Flynn’s history yesterday …. didn’t realise how poor a scorer he is …. best season ave in the 70’sLots of Kents going with Flynn. Does he get the top ruck job at the Weagles or is it Bailey Williams
We will find out in a few months. Presents value if he locks in the #1 ruck role.Lots of Kents going with Flynn. Does he get the top ruck job at the Weagles or is it Bailey Williams
He did have a three-season block with a fairly decent average, but only one of those were a full season.
If I were not already taking risks on other players then he’d be a consideration, albeit for a brief moment.
He’s less risk than a Cerra who has only had one decent year of SC scoring, but how many can you take?
I’m already toying with Short/Clarry/Cumming/Flynn types, not sure I want to add another burnt trade to the equation.
He’s never really been the number 1 ruck anywhere. I’m not convinced he will be at West Coast either.I looked at Flynn’s history yesterday …. didn’t realise how poor a scorer he is …. best season ave in the 70’s
Fingers crossed he represents better value than on paper
Beats me, I’m currently $900 remaining.Has anyone managed to crack the “Zero bucks, Zero ****s” code yet?
The closest I’ve gotten is $300 remaining.

I mean, I don’t hate it, but round 12 could get a little messy

How people don't start him now is a mystery,Bont is as close to bullet-proof as you can get in SC.

Daicos with the one less game needs to average 5 points more to be a break even starting pick, you cant pick a team fearing collision injuries anyway.I think Daicos is a better starting pick than Butters, even with the bye. I don't see Butters going much better than what he's priced at and I feel he's just too brave to not get clobbered at some point, whereas Daicos could have another level to reachm

He was probably thinking Draper the potato

Daicos with a probable Bedford tag in Rd 0 is an easy fade, people picking Flanders too. Just put a line through these guys for your starting side, must haves for a finished side but you can pick them up cheaper and bye free in upgrade season.
I don’t disagree on your points, but someone like Daicos could easily start like a house on fire and be out of reach without ripping up your team. The good news is that we'll be able to see Daicos's Round 0 score.
I just think there's more of a chance of Daicos averaging 122 than Butters backing up a 120 avg over 23 games.
Ooopps ….. that was Flynn’s Fantasy ave
Suggesting that Nick Daicos can outscore Zak Butters by about 50 points over the course of the season is a far colder take than when I said that Lachie Neale would outscore Nat Fyfe by 500+ points in 2020 pre-season.
FWIW I think both will go 125+ next year
Love it when facts are used here. This is what I mean when I say that people vastly overestimate the amount of scoring players will achieve.

I don't have easy access to stats before 2011.
You could be right, but you're basically saying that Butters and Daicos will be the best 2 players in Supercoach in 2025, with the small caveat if you prefer aggregate over average, and reckon 120 over 23 games beats 125 over 22 games, or if you think the average split will be lower at the start of the season (Say 115 over the first 8 weeks then
130ish for the rest of the season
).
Without those caveats, you're basically picking Butters and Daicos M1 and M2 right now.
