I'd love to know how many Carlton members turn up tonight. I can see it being a 20k Carlton contingent with crap weather. Probably outnumbered by Hawks.

Hope not. Last week absolutely sucked but it would be pretty pathetic if our members/supporters don't turn up to our first home game of the season at the G because of it. Rain will shave some off though I agree there.

Just speaking with some Carlton people. There is almost an air of resignation. It's really depressing. I think I will go to bar by myself
I must admit it's the first week since I can ever remember where I've felt absolutely no hope or trust in the team, which says a lot. That performance last week really destroyed any confidence I had in our boys. I hope they can win it back.

Talking to Carlton supporting mates at work today we were all the same mate.

All of us were in unison as well that Voss coaching is killing us and the moves he makes are woeful sometimes. Dont think he has lost the players yet but it will happen if things dont change.

I think if we are to win then a real negative game is on the cards where we push numbers back really hard. Basically on the rebound against us, instead of numbers getting across to get behind the ball, we just B line straight to the defensive 50. Similar to how St Kilda play and how Richmond went against us the other night. Keep it a low scoring grind, beat their small forwards by taking away as much space as possible.

I'm not writing us off but I doubt we can win this pretty. And yes it will be a tolling game style that will be hard to see through a whole season.

Interesting. A long time member who is always positive said to me something very similar just before.

It was "when they give a f..... I'll give a f...."
Yeah, I doubt it's an original thought on my part. I think many at the game will be feeling that way. The Hok fans will out shout us if we don't show something early.

You'll be able to tell that depending on how tonight goes I would think.

If we roll over, it's going to be a long old season.
