Harry Sharp (mid) and Jaxon Prior (def) both leaving Brisbane for opportunity.

Both 4 games @ 39SC last year so priced $215-220k minus any discount.

Sharp in the VFL 19 disposals, 6 marks 88AF over 10 games
Prior 24 diposals (20 kicks 😍 ) 7 marks 95 AF over 17 games

Could be better options than many of the high priced rookies next year?

Were they available in the rookie draft ?

Is there another opportunity for hacks to be picked up.?

Sharp was a trade, Prior delisted I think.

Neither will be $102k though.

Teams can still sign players I think, if they have a free list spot.
I think that makes sense EPs if they trading with a club .

Shape was melb yeah ,nah

Neither were injured so there won't be any discount.

He's going to play half forward isn't he? For the worst team in the league. Doesn't sound like a great SC pick.

Not really sure where they will play him, but maybe 60% Forward 40% Midfield so definitely a risk at the high price but I will be picking him with my heart.

I wouldn't be placing too much hope on the Tigers rookies, apart from Smillie.

3 x KPF's = no go
3rd tall KPD (Trainor) will need time with a few in front of him.
Lalor has never had a pre season and coming off a grade 3 hammy tear won't be risked, might see him later in the year but forward mostly
Hotton's ACL will see him eased in.
Alger has a few to get past as that medium forward.
Leaves Smillie who's likeliest to get a guernsey early, possibly roaming off half back and wing, but again will be eased into things.

It'll be interesting in a few years to see how this group do, Richmond definitely didn't go for the safe picks.

I reckon Trainor is a decent chance, no Gibcus early, they might continue with Brown fwd too.

Imagine we'll get a good enough look at Lalor in preseason to see if he'll be worth it for SC.
