How dead is Mitch Lewis?
179k for a bloke that managed 70+ for 2 years when his team was ass.

No more than an hour later.
I didn't mean to put a curse on young Calsher I swear.

I get that Jagga was a top tier ball pig in juniors, and he'll most likely go on to have a great career as a top shelf midfield accumulator, but I hesitate to add him as my M6-8 straight-of-the-box simply because he's so damn skinny.

He's got the muscularity of North's Miller Bergman in his debut year. (He lasted about half a game before he snapped his shoulder)

If Jagga gets thrown in the guts round one, I just can't see his body handling it.

Please, by all means, someone tell me why I'm wrong.

Did he play games against the mature bodies in the VFL

I think most of the top mids did

If he did that’s probably a good sign he’s not going to snap with the first body on body contact

I'm sceptical about him too. Even if he gets mid time there is no way he will get enough to rack it up like in juniors.

I have him in as a placeholder currently, but will swap him out if/when a cheaper option presents.

Thats a reasonable point.

3 games with Richmond.

One with 31 disposals.

He’ll be an interesting watch in the preseason games, that’s for sure.

Why?

Bevo has always been fantastic with low end rookies for SC (Hayes/McComb/Gallagher/Scott ect) top end outside Bont he always ****s with

More because you can't trust him based on on-field performance. Scott/McComb etc you watch the game and these guys are genuine crabs spudding it up, so you say nup ill pass thanks. Bevo then plays them for 10 games straight.

On the other hand you can have a genuine gun kid who plays a ripper half scores looking amazing, yep get him in. Banished to the VFL for 2 months.

Took me 3 years to work out bevo for SC, always pick the generic 180cm white bread VFL player who doesn't appear to actually be impacting the game but is playing a "role" that no one can actually define.

So Dylan Alexander on his youtube segment of the top 10 best rookies ......has Xavier Lindsay as his #1 prospect ...apparently is designated for the HB role vacated by Rivers (insert McKercher 2023 role)

#2 was Travaglia ....again, slated for a HB role at the SAINTS
