Round 2 in Poetry

The rookies from all over came,
With a price so low, they hailed their name,
"Get Tsatas in your squad!" the pundits cried,
FOS is a gun, his price would rise

But when the game kicked off, what did we see?
Davidson, my goodness me!
Few tackles, some kicks, no points to gain—
We were simply left with Rookie pain.

And those premiums, we trusted so,
They burnt our teams, their scores so low
A big score or two seemed all too late—
Our Supercoach hopes met an early fate.

Lachie burnt us and Sanders too,
Will we ever learn? Trade Round 2
Our anger built, our hand was dealt
The only thing to do was melt

But don’t lose hope, it’s still the start,
The season’s long, so don’t lose heart
With trades in hand, we’ll fix our flaws,
Rebuild our teams, rewrite the laws.

For hope’s not gone, it’s just delayed,
A few good picks and we’ll be saved.
The tide will turn, we’ll rise once more
Supercoach dreams? A massive score

The season’s early, but can we see—
Supercoach hopes? A fantasy

TDK VC score was lame, and now i'm in a pickle going Xerri vs Gawn or Serong with a Jordan tag. Gonna have to get creative with my captain. Dawson/Sheezel/JHF Might sideways trade someone to Dunkley just for an obvious answer.

Will Day is a faux premo kent with a small pants gremlin.

Cerra pulled his weight, but honestly as an owner, i watch that bloke each week thinking he's going to do a hammy every contest he goes to. It's only a matter of time. Expecting him to revert back to his standard 90 ave scoring as well.

Just Davidson as my loop up fwd.

Will be interesting to see how the likes of Perryman/Freijah/Long/Sanders go.

There's not a huge number of chances to make the rotations, need a goal or a stoppage on the interchange side, or an injury. The Blues missed a chance to get him back on after 4-5 mins when a goal was kicked then the ball was stuck on the far side with no goals for 6 mins after that and he couldn't get on.

It's why commentators have this misconception about players being dragged after a goal, that's literally when 80% of interchanges happen

TDK was 43 at Qtr time .....are we to believe the other 3 Qtrs were only worthy of 61 pts ?

Only one FA ....but the stats are saying 47% DE .....gotta say, to the eye, I didn't think it was that bad

He was massive in the third and got points but nowhere near as many as he should've. Was quieter in the last - he was cream crackered

Yeah, I've still got English in tonight's game. If he was any more useless, he’d be working in IT support telling me to "turn it off and on again." If I ever wanted to witness this level of disappointment, I’d just rewatch the 2000 Grand Final on repeat until my soul crumbled into dust. And honestly, if he was any more invisible, David Copperfield would be taking notes. Supercoach gods, I am begging you - either make him useful or at least give him the decency to fake an injury so I can just trade his arse and be done with it.

You can't view it like that.
Quarter time score isn't set in stone, none of them are.
Depending on the rate of scoring acts, the margin etc., the players ' scores all fluctuate.
Think of it like a an accordion / squeezebox.
If we looked closely, we saw that a number of players seemed like they were 'stuck.in the mud'in Q3, but that was due to the anchor point shifting and also the rate of scoring acts.
TDK isn't an island, none of them are.
I get folks aren't happy, I own him, too, but those 43 points are just an approximation of what those scoring acts in that margin context are worth, they constantly get adjusted / scaled throughout.
Just my 2c, folks can disagree / see it how they see fit.

That's my feeling, too, but the counterargument, I guess, is that he'll likely tread water at worst this week, it's another chance to get a sighter on him and his potential replacements and make a better decision.
Emotionally, campaigner is dead to me.
