Boyd is dead barring a Marshall injury
Pretty strong statement for someone not on the Saints selection committee. Saints have Geelong with SDK the only recognised ruck. Seems likely to be a horses for courses selection this week. Plus Marshall looked super underdone last week. Pretty sure Boyd will get another chance soon.

Instead of getting Smith this week, I'm trading Garcia (he has got to go) to Knevitt.

I'll then have the bank to punt whichever out of FOS/Tsatas underperforms direct to Smith. Gives me another look at both.

Boyd can only play ruck, and is terrible outside hit outs. Complete liability around the ground, slow as treacle and found out many times last week. Roscoe's comments post game hinted at his fate.

If Boyd plays it must be ruck, which means Marshall must be 70% fwd which they don't want for their borderline AA quality ruck. All of the pressers from Ross have said what will happen once Marshall is fit enough and they get some tall fwds back. Boyd gets his chance if Marshall is injured but outside that I expect he will be depth.

Gotta find a way to get Ward in this week I think, though he might take a hit when Worpel returns
284k mid only. It's a big gamble - if you're looking for a cash grab and he has a bad Round 3 it's a terrible pick. Even if he knocks out 90 odd he's still not going to be a keeper and we have our bye coming up. Surely better places to invest.

I'm holding Hastie.....he looks a player, and we know these rookies come back

Yes, I've gone early on Lindsay ....will look at Tsatas once more, and then decide between NOD & Knevitt when on the bubble
Ross might not like him his been sub on/off everygame bar one...scored A big 12 points.
Saints have so many defender types .
He was having a crack last week with no mates.
But a couple turn overs ...ok get off .
Fook the sub rule.

Is Hayes still on their list?

Perryman is a weird one. If I had him, I feel like I would have traded him. But maybe not, since then I would have started him for a reason

Pies fans have no clue what is going on with our midfield mix, so you're not going to get answers from us. I couldn't tell you what our ideal midfield mix is.
I started him cos he had a defined role preseason and hoped for a few George Hewett type scores, based on his previous mid form at GWS. Looks like false advertising and he's playing defense and whatnot at times. Might have to move him on for a 5 week TDK sugar hit. Pies mids look yuck for SC. I nearly started Ed as well.

We don't get much to go on in the Carlton dry cup .
Then things get switched up...disappointing.
I'll give pez one more week.
Biggest issue early in the year lack of funds.
Fraser or SDK but they not keepers either.

I think I finally figured it out. It only took me all week of ignoring my wife and bludging at work..

Next week
Paton to Hall if he's named
SPP or Tsasasatata to Lash
The ferryman to sdk or freijah if they pass the eye test. Or hold Perry.

Time to climb the ladder

Clarko could easily put FOS at HB in coming weeks like he has done with others in the past and then his scoring will take off.

I could also win the lotto. Someone has to make way, and Lindsay is cheaper and Lash is a better cash making prospect. Will happily trade Sulli back in if he gets that role though!
You got to be in it to win it..
