Position 2025 Rucks

If your onfield rookies that you pay more $ for don’t return quick 100’s and hold their places better than Boyd
its bleeding weekly points.
Boyd @ flex, Two ruck premo’s and a R/F doughnut @ R3 opens up the fwd line for looping which I like.
On that, I get not many will play a doughnut this year and rely on bye players
but I like to have control on my doughnut all year. To miss a 200 VC because of a poor loop setup would frustrate me .

I’m in the same boat. Have TDK at R2, looks juicier with Gawn.
Plus if you're set on Xerri, all of TDK, English and Sweet have the same R12 bye. I normally have a no-ovr-30 rule, but Maxy's in my team. Meek is the only other one I'm considering.

Not that any of us will question the age of our free horse, but I can absolutely see a world where Boyd plays 1 or 2 games and is never heard from again...

You mean Paul Hunter style 😉

I'm still thinking xerri and tdk with a rookie r/f and Boyd in the flex. But meek is tempting IF reeves is permanent vfl.

I also think sdk will get D/R status at round 6 so it will be interesting to see what people do with their ruck set-ups.

AFL WA reporter Nathan Schmook stated a few days ago that Bailey Williams is currently the annointed numero uno ruckman so I'm going a bit cold on Flynn, especially as a flex.

Harry Boyd could be an option but is in competition with 204cm Max Heath who was apparently impressive for StKilda in match sim the other day.

The practice games will give us some better clarity.
Eagles supporters would know more but surely their best setup has both of them playing? Allen and Waterman as key forwards Williams 70% fwd 30% ruck and Flynn taking the other 70% of ruck work. They need both rucks in the team to avoid getting smashed in the ruck and try to work the other ruck over a bit

2nd yr player Archer Reid (R/F) getting wraps for his FWD work as well...

Will be on my bench with (E) Nigma.
Christo is an anagram of Ostrich.

Mr Christo once stumbled upon an ancient riddle hidden in an ostrich egg, which, unbeknownst to him, was the key to unlocking Supercoaches greatest mystery. In his obsession to decode it, he became so fixated on bird, particularly ostriches, that he now believes solving their "riddle" will give him ultimate power.

So, he starts dressing like one, adding feathers to his guernsey, and replacing his usual riddles with: "What’s tall, awkward, and hides its head in the sand? No, not Tim English! The answer to everything........If you can figure it out!"

B Williams ain’t a rucks arseh*le

J Williams on the other hand, showed more in his fight/second attempts than BW ever has

As far as we all see it, Flynn has to be number 1 just to give our mids first use because he’s a much better tap ruckman than BW. Obviously also has to be fit and in form.

Few people keep mentioning Archer Reid. He’s fairly unlikely to come in unless there’s an injury to one of Allen, Waterman or J Williams.

J Williams likely takes up that forward / ruck role whether Flynn or BW is ruck. I’d assume BW is out of the team if Flynn gets the spot as he’s not a forwards arseh*le either

Still running with Xawn, as expensive as it is. Not sold on Gawn maintaining his price all year but I just don't see a better option to pair with Xerri while Marshall remains injured.

I'm still high on English ....is it true, his current injury was a trauma blow to the stomach ....and he'll have a different Ruck role this year, playing more that kick behind play ?

Is there a timeline on his injury ?
Apparently still doing a lot of skills work, and I believe still running ....just not contact, which wouldn't be a huge issue at this time of the year

Bit like Sicily

That's what some of the track watchers were saying, which is similar to his 2021 role really.

No love for Nank? It was a pretty random season by the big man, guessing most don’t think he can back it up
Love the way Nank plays but I can't see many hit outs to advantage to a poor Richmond midfield.

Fair chance he will be rested at various times during the year as Richmond have nothing to play for.

I want to start Briggs but I don't have the balls. Also the early bye is annoying. Anybody considering him.
I've seen a few teams with Briggs as the flex player.

Braver then me.
