Hey guys,

Sorry for the intrusion but watched the game today and if Dom isn't in you're rd.1 team, well I think the coaches have rocks in their head!!

Someone told me they would rather Hayden in the guts but the fact he took 8 marks shows he works hard and just the type you need with the new rule!!

Best of luck for 2021!

Been racked with injury / bad luck for 2 years. Can play.

There’s never been a knock on his work ethic. It’s more a question of weather or not he’ll help elevate the team to the next level

He will play round 1.Good game yesterday and his kicking was good as well.

He'll make a mistake at a certain point and then the currently silent will sprint in here to sh!tcan him.

You can set your watch to it.

Snake baker is right

Dom seems like he has something to prove. He actually played like he is desperate to be picked for round 1

Where does he play? Cunners, Anderson, Dumont & Polec all missed and he's well behind Simpkin and LDU. Then Powell and Phillips. I'd backing in no contract extension for Dom.

If this guy gets a game this year then the NMFC is not serious about improving.

with a full complement to choose from he arguably bats as the 8th or 9th mid rotation

as it currently stands he’s covering for Anderson and cunners - and plays as a dynamic 2 way mid that can get outside the contest as well as getting dirty.

our biggest issue is midfield spread and movement arc to arc - if he’s not in our starting 22 by the end of the year then the young fellas have come on extremely well and we will be playing good footy

He’d be any old odds for a new contract. Mind you, Lunar Fox won the Australian Guineas at 300-1 a week ago, so anything is possible I guess.

He’ll play games this year though. Cunnington, Anderson, Dumont and Polec are already injured.

Shows a lot of leadership too. After his third goal he noticed Phillips laid the shepherd after the give and chased him down to thank him. Goes out of his way to get around the young blokes.

I've said it here before but if we get his best footy out of him which we've seen over a season or two at Melbourne he'll be a genuinely good player for us.

I am still not sold on him, he will be found out at the top level, as usual. He won't influence the game against Port much but im happy to be proven wrong.

Two of his career seasons were better than any one that any midfielder on our list has put together, outside of Ben Cunnington.

This is fair. The bloke is legit in his prime, he won't leave anything out there this season.

if Cunnington and anderson are available then I'd dsay it'd come down to Tyson or Powell. Would prefer Powell as he's first year however Tyson did play well and probably does deserve a spot to prove himself after such an unlucky start to his north career.

I do enjoy these elaborate constructions of reality which facilitate keeping whipping boys out of the team.

Dom's best footy is walk up start best 22 stuff, it's just that most folks aren't aware of it. He's no mug.

Tyson debuted with Melbourne as a 20 year old after transferring from GWS, and proceeded to rack up ~ 260 clearances & ~ 560 contested possessions in the next 58 games. If we had a 20-23 year old racking up those contested midfield numbers, we'd be slipping over on jizz.

Then some moron down there decided he was a wingman. They effectively butchered him, and it's not the first young bloke they have stuffed up either.

Of course, then he had a woeful run with injuries.

He did well against a group of kids.

If he's part of our future open up your draw as wooden spoons will be added.

His clearance work against Hawthorn was impressive. Pleasantly surprised by him.
