Let's see if he's been polishing up his media gig on the Footy Show tonight. Zach Merrett is also dropping in.

...Yeah nahh gois, the 50 year storm in Point Break is really real.

this is just an observation off of one game where i was really playing attention, but I reckon bomber's going to play him behind the ball a bit more often this year, in more of a 'Corey Enright-ish' role, to compare it to Bomber's previous playing group.

He also did mention in the presser that they've got a lot of mids that can go forward, but not a lot that can go back. watch tho space I reckon

Then again, who would want to tackled a guy with oil dripping out of his hair. :D

The best Bob Marley that ever lived.

Kid will be superstar no doubt, slow as treacle though & needs to find a couple of extra gears to sure up the defensive side of his game.

Agreed. I genuinely believe a running coach could improve his speed that 5 or 10â„… that would make him a scary prospect.

This is what I asked about last year. A running coach can help you in the first 5 or 10 metres.

Was actually very surprised he got as much possies as he did. How much did he influence the game with his possessions, in your opinions? I was so impressed with guys like Jobe, BJ and Chappy that Hepp slipped through the cracks.

Influence is probably where Heppell needs to find another gear. It is the difference between between being a very good player and being a great player (and living up to those Pendlebury comparisions).

Right now he finds a lot of it but too many of his possessions have limited impact. I'd like to see him add 5m to his average kick and maybe drift forward to kick a few more goals.

And needs to add, I think, a touch more penetration to his kicking. At the moment does a lot of 'step back and loft a 9 iron' kicks.. would love to see some more pin point passes.

As you said, it is not critiquing Heppell (it is only beginning of Yr 4).. but it is how he will jump from 'very good' into 'absolutely elite'... also because I have complete faith that he is good enough to become the complete player. I really see Heppell becoming one of the top 10 midfielder in the competition..
