In Heppell's case he actually had a 30 possesion half...just sayin.....it doesn't happen that often.

Thought he was clearly the key to our second half revival. Without looking at the replay to confirm I remember actually being impressed at his compusure and ball-use when the heat was on.....one thing I'm certain of, his ballhandling under pressure was extraordinary.

Just watched the replay of the second half to go with the first which I watched last night.

Baguley, Myers, Zaharakis and Colyer were Essendon's best and most influential players by a long way. Winderlich did a bit. Heppell would struggle to make my top 5.

Grrr.. just as we were starting to see our midfield come back together..

Let's hope the club isn't lying and it is just the one week. Need this bloke firing.

Makes the GC game even more of a risk..

Sucks, but kinda works for us a little bit, been thinking for a while we're going to struggle to play Goddard, Myers, Watson and Heppell in the one midfield and pretty much every time they've all been fit; Myers gets relegated back or Goddard forward. Move Goddard to the middle and bring Carlisle in.

Apart from a leg apparently growing out of Bag's head, everything's fine.

At least it was picked up quickly at training.. and the assessment and surgery done within hours.. it could have been one of those things that was a bit sore.. and then player goes home and the swelling doesn't go down for a couple of days and then they discover the small fracture.

There is a real chance he could play with a guard this week if they wanted to take the chance.. but I think they will go safety first and let it heal up.

Hepp's weapon is his 'touch' and clean hands.. so I hope it doesn't cause too much grief... either way at least he won't lose fitness or match conditioning..

Back into $10 after yesterday. Will he get votes?

Would love to see Heppell, Jobe and Myers smash north from the inside
Going to be hard to do. For all their faults, North are a ****ing good contested ball winning side
