He instigated it, absolutely no excuses. He even went back for a second go

But you weren’t there and didn’t hear what was playing out. He definitely should have just stayed out of it, zero doubt about that but you cannot know the full circumstances from watching the vision. You really think he just randomly decided to hit the bloke? And fwiw, I’ve seen far worse than what was shown in that video clip, far worse.

Michaels the club would not have seen the footage at the time due to him been charged. They only went on what balta told them which he admitted guild. I bet now they have seen it they would not be happy. He attacked the guy when his back was turned and wasn't doing anything but talking or arguing. Than straight away started hitting him on the head (No different to king hitting someone)and than when you thought it was done went back and gave him a couple more. That was cowardly to say the list. F him he deserves a lot more than 4 weeks we gave him. People saying he never got hit in the ribs lol well stand there and let someone baltas size do what he did you might end up with more than broken ribs.

If Balta was truthful and told them absolutely everything then they won’t have learnt anything new today.

If he bent the truth however, no doubt the club will revisit this asap.

Let’s not paint what happened as a king hit either, what happened was horrible and disgusting but it was not a king hit.

This is bloody stupid by Noah but he dosnt deserve to be thrown in jail.

As much as it was most disappointing and even disturbing it doesn’t warrant dismissal . It is in the bracket that he warrants a sec chance . I don’t say that glibly that everyone deserves a sec chance , that’s a rubbish comment , walk up and down Barwon or goulburn prison and repeat that . If Balta is remorseful genuinely he gets his wack in the metal system an appropriate suspension is applied , he can come back

If they hadn’t seen the footage, what was the 4 weeks based on?

They had to come to that conclusion somehow, possibly just based on Baltas verbal version of events.

If he was completely honest with everything they will have known everything that happened when deciding the weeks initially.

If he didn’t tell the truth though, then yep it will 1000% get revisited very quickly.

Balta has pleaded guilty and we have video evidence of the assault

We didn’t have either of those with Pickett
We just know he was charged

Most people if being honest have gotten themselves in worst positions.
We can all jump upon a pedestal and attempt to take moral high ground . The rest of us will take a realistic view .

After seeing the footage I'm a little surprised by what took place. Not excusing Balta at all, he went into a situation with stupidity and recklessness, but where was the king hit, and hit from behind that I have read and heard.

His initial involvement that sent the bloke flying was a two handed push to the chest. Sure it was forceful and lucky not head hit, but king hit? Once on the ground he threw a few, but they didn't really connect by the looks of it (could be wrong), and not a lot of venom in them.

Stupid and pretty cowardly, yup.

Even if he was baited for hours, so what. Even more reason to get out of dodge. The footage is the footage. It's bad. Not saying he's doing time, but, he's not getting a slap on the wrist either.
