Iā€™m assuming you were also there being how close you are to some of the facts.

If not a coward punch or a King Hit how would you describe the punch that hit a blindsided guy who was only intending to defuse a situation? Also no mention of the kicking to the ribs whilst he was down? Not a move that screams of nobility.
simple questions, were you there and did you see Noah punch and kick the guy with your own eyes?

No report of broken ribs. If you start a fight and get "blindsided" it's your own fault. Bunch of turkey non sense

There's another version not too dissimilar to your account doing the rounds which is also quite incriminating for Balta. This is a serious question - I'm not being frivolous - what is the role of the pizza in all of this?
That story on pre sounds like unadulterated bs to me , for the uninitiated it suggests the trouble started when someone from the Balta crew asked for a slice of pizza from another tables order

If this kicking-when-on-the-ground stuff has any truth, we might be without Balta for a lot more than 4 weeks :(
Oh plz.
You think it wouldn't be all over the media if it was the case?

That version did suggest the other party was the first to initiate the physicality aspect. Pushed Balta's brother (who was allegedly being a dickhead) prompting Noah to respond/escalate.

Dunno, had a ring of authenticity in it to me Bo. Maybe because I've been in that situation before, both as the bloke at the table and having a mate being a bit of a dick.

Suspending a player for games is a stupid way to go. Hand out a financial penalty and impose some charity work or a course to be completed, something along those lines and then leave the legal system to handle it from there.

Making a player miss games for a non football incident hurts the whole team and its supporters who pay to see the best side we can field each week.

The club would be following advice. Get ahead of the court hearing and try and avoid a conviction.

4wks, mandatory training, donation to a one punch charity next. Itā€™s a good lawyers play book.

Over a slice of pizza from a pub?! If it was a mcains frozen meatlovers I would understand, but that's just too far fetched

Yeah probably but I still donā€™t like the club derailing their plans for the good of one man. A substantial financial penalty and donation along with a firm commitment to education/training would play well enough in court. Itā€™s not like the guy has a history of violence. The 4 game ban could have been avoided. A judge wouldnā€™t expect any other business to stand down their employee under similar circumstances.
