Hogan another solid Carey-like B.O.G performance today to keep GWS' top 2 chances alive.

341 goals from 162 games @ 2.10 a game. Only the Freo years drag that average down.

You seem to be taking it personally that I don't rate Hogan that much and I am not sure why.

I mean he is a good player, a solid player, but I am still happy with my decision to pick JUH over him.

ChatGPT had a go at simming a season (Which we know throw weird shit out but fun none the less)

This simulation provides a snapshot of how these teams might fare over a season, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses that influence their performance.

To simulate a full season of matches between these teams, we’ll use a structured approach to estimate performance based on team composition, player statistics, and strengths and weaknesses. Each team will play against every other team once, resulting in a 27-game season for each team. The results will be generated based on player effectiveness and team synergies.

Capadoccia not listed so I assume they went through the season undefeated

jUH is still very young. Will potentially be very good to elite or inconsistent.

Butters with 42 and 10 clearances and a goal. No doubt about what he brings.

Missed this before. I had just re-added the post as you sent something irrelevant back the first time.

It's just a bit of fun, although the tags weren't meant to actually make you angry. ;)

JUH is decent. You said it took Hogan a while to get going and go beyond "solid" but his early years were considerably better than JUHs. Tag me when he starts blowing Hogan's equivalent years out of the water and I won't have a tantrum like you did there. :p

Wirrpanda, Weller, Hill, Docherty and our defense is slow?

I consciously picked defenders with speed. Christ, I even picked mobile key talls.

What the actual ****!

Wow. Heeney with one of the best games of all time.
Fantastic game by Heeney.

He's kind of saved you too.

Butters terrible (even before injury), Chol one of the few Hawks to fumble relentlessly. Wines was okay, really quiet after half time. I thought Bruhn and Idun were pretty good. SDK playing poorly in the magoos and old man Breust understandably the sub.

Not a bad assessment on current form in finals. Bit unreasonable for Wines and Breust.

Butters had that injury a few weeks ago from memory. I've had a badly bruised rib before and it ****ing sucks.

Idun was fairly solid tonight given the onslaught. Sam Taylor was exceptional for whoever picked him.

Unreasonable to say Breust was "understandably the sub"?

Wines was pretty good the first quarter and a bit but seemed to lose effectiveness after that. Just doesn't do enough damage with the ball. Even players like Bruhn, Bowes and Atkins were getting a much higher proportion of disposals that lead to meaningful attacks. But the blame is still on their A grade midfielders for not presenting as the outlet for Wines to dish off to. You don't want Ollie to be your player sending the ball forward by foot.

I thought we were talking about peak potential. We already know what we got with Wines and Breust from previous seasons.

Wines isn't even that old. His form heading into finals was AA level. He definitely under performed. Look at 34 year old Dangerfield as an example of a veteran delivering.

Breust all I said is it made sense for him to be sub at his age.

BUMP!

Good luck everyone with Brownlow Medal votes.

CARN TOM GREEN AND NOAH ANDERSON!
